An old uni friend was studying Forensic Science and their "final exam" was to be bussed out to this massive field where a (fake obviously) murder had taken place. That sounded much more fascinating than my boring old history exams 🤣🤣

This documentary is on my to watch list but unfortunately DH wants to watch it too so need to wait when he's around.

That sounds amazing! We had similar in our psychology classes. Fake murderers to profile with detailed case notes. We also had some real cases that were hard to stomach

did anyone watch this series in early 2019? It was soooo heartwarming, it followed a few different couples having a baby and it was so amazing seeing their stories.

Taking Liberties

With everything that's going on now around the Police Bill, Coronavirus Bills etc. it reminds us that Tony Blair's New Labour really set the wheels in motion...

Three identical strangers has always stuck in my head, it’s just crazy to believe that it’s real!

And James bulger and another little boy called Adrian Jones always make me feel so sad, how anyone could be so evil to children I’ll never understand 😔
I mentioned Adrian Jones earlier in the thread. I only read about him recently and just can't get him out of my head. That poor child suffered so much. I often wonder why the other children in these families don't try to do something. Is it because they are tit scared it will happen to them?

Disgusting isn’t it ☹️ And the pictures in the news articles I’ve never seen anything like that before which made it even more ‘real’ to read about! But I suppose that is why we are normal people because it’s just unimaginable to us. I suppose the children were so frightened and maybe a case of it’s not happening to us so we better keep quiet or maybe they were told no one would believe them. I just never understand how it all goes under the radar, like no teachers, family, friends, neighbours not even a postman noticed what was happening 😔

Paris is Burning. I still think about poor Venus a lot and how she was killed.

Dear Zachary 😭😭

Paris is Burning is one of my favourites. I watch it many times a year because the soundtrack is amazing, the humour, the balls, the dancing and of course, the cast.

Dear Zachary - my pal put this on when were collectively on a comedown and it did none of us any good lol. But those grandparents are real heroes, genuinely good people.

That wretched bleep Baby p * mother * came up on my FB today for some bizarre reason
3 times she's been refused parole
Is she out ?
So tragic , that poor baby let down by so many ❤

Dear Zachary 😭😭

Also just finished watching Allen vs Farrow on Sky last night and feel sick at Hollywood and anyone who ever defended that piece of tit

Paris is Burning is an amazing documentary! The best I've seen!

I've never heard of this ? Is it on netflix ?

I've never forgotten Johnny go home from 1975, about homeless runaway kids who got sucked into the rentboy life. It was shocking and heartbreaking. I don't think it's ever been repeated, and it was quickly taken down from youtube.
I just googled this one, looks like whoever put it on YouTube was threatened with legal action by someone mentioned in it.

It also said it had to be shown in two halves, before and after the news, because the second part was so horrific!

she was released years ago but broke the terms of her parole so she’s back locked up where she belongs.

It makes me incredibly sad that Daisy from Audrie and Daisy just took her own life.
Not a documentry but... The girl who was absolutely smashed on Come dine with me that everyone was laughing at and it turned out she was an alcoholic battling major demons who went on to take her own life too.

I do wonder what happened in ‘there’s something wrong with aunt Diane’ where a seemingly normal Mother went the wrong way down the interstate killing herself, her daughter and 3 nieces and 3 in another car. Turned out she was very drunk and no one has a clue why since she wasn’t really a drinker, it was daytime, she was ferrying the kids etc

Daisy’s Mum committed suicide too. Three months after Daisy.. unimaginable what that family has been through. The dad and brother died in car accidents too.
