I have followed child of a time since the beginning, I feel so invested in the kids lives! I wish they would do regular updates. I remember the first episode in 2000 when I was ten! It felt like 2020 was a lifetime away. I think they only planned to follow them for 20 years, so possibly they will do a final one this year? I hope we catch up with them all, sometimes it just focuses on a few of the kids.

i also follow born to be different. The kids and families are so lovely.

I’ve watched a few 7up episodes but was too young for it really! Would love to see some earlier episodes

I love following people’s lives 🤣 I must be so nosy.

The Accused on Channel 5 stayed with me a long time. Dreadful girl who put her relationship with her violent partner ahead of her child.

I mentioned this on another thread but I went to school with that girl. Couldn’t believe it when I saw the program, she let her baby down so badly.

I found that a hard one. She honestly couldn’t see the problems. Her poor little girl.

Thanks to this thread I've watched the Aunt Diane documentary and just about to watch the Joyce Vincent doc. Any other recommendations for anything available on Sky or Netflix please send them my way! X

Can I ask where you found the Joyce Vincent documentary please?
I remember watching it a few years ago, but would like to see it again and can't find it anywhere at the moment.

I haven't watched the programme but just from reading the article it sounds like she's in some sort of denial or has Stockholm Syndrome type of symptoms. All very sad.
The programme sounds intersting though so I'll watch it at some point.

I watched a documentary in school years ago about a boy who believed he had a second life and had been reincarnated, he was only about five years old insisting that in his past life his father had died and he was one of seven siblings, his mother supported him completely - they lived in Glasgow and yet this little boy was insisting he lived in a tiny little house in Barra! His mother took him on a flight to seek out the house and everything in every way was as the boy had explained it. It was so thought provoking and lovely to see how excited the boy was once his 'past life' was shown to him and his mother. We had some really interesting discussions about it in school and it chilled me (in a good way) to watch. It's on youtube, it's called 'the boy who lived before'.

I remember that! The siblings believed him too. For some reason I recalled it as him saying he was their dead mother not their sibling but it was a long time ago that I watched it. Didn’t he used to say things to his mum along the lines of “my other mum” when talking about his previous life? Oh am I mixing that up with another past life story? Also thought it was Ireland, but again perhaps another story.
I think I need to rewatch it on YouTube to see if it’s the same one!

I watched The Boy Who Lived Before tonight and my memory had mixed up 2 cases of reincarnation! The one about the little boy from Scotland and another about a lady who said she was the reincarnation of a woman from Ireland. I’ve not watched it recently but it was called Strange But True - Jenny Cockell.
