It’s not reported that the person’s career is over 2 decades old like some have mentioned. It says “spans 2 decades”, so the career is a minimum of 11 years and a maximum of 19 years, but more likely between 11 and 15, any longer and the papers would probably have said “nearly two decades”.
So we’re looking for someone who came into the music industry between 2006-2010. JLS were on Xfactor in 2008 but started the band in 2006. Ortise’s girlfriend has a flat in London (according to previous posts on here), he’s 34, he has had numerous no.1s and various albums, won MOBO and BRIT awards, been on TV (on ITV’s ‘Stepping Out’, he won that dancing show) and done charity work, JLS even have their own charity called “The JLS Foundation” that they kept going even after the band split. So he matches the description perfectly. He was charged with rape years ago. I know he wasn’t found guilty but he was charged and taken to trial so it’s obvious something indicated the police to think he did it. Ortise’s ex and Baby Mum has publicly spoken about how toxic he is as a boyfriend. Mel B even told him off for the way he spoke to his girlfriend while he was a contestant on ‘Stepping Out’ and Mel was a judge. Mel B obviously knows about domestic abusers, working closely with Women’s Aid. Ortise and the current girlfriend have posted eachother on instagram since the domestic incident, but it takes a domestic violent victim 7 times, on average to leave their abusive partner. The victim/girlfriend didn’t call the police, the neighbours did. So it’s not shocking that the girlfriend would go back to Ortise. I can imagine JLS’s management and PR people working their absolute butts off to keep the story quite and his name out of negative media as they’re about to release new music and go on tour aren’t they? That would explain why the name is so secret. They can’t make a successful comeback with a missing member or a full band with one having just been arrested for domestic violence. I am so sure it is him. What an absolute worm of a man. It’s been one thing after another with him. I remember his house being set on fire too and the police saying it was arson and suspicious, he wasn’t living in the house at the time so conveniently no personnal belongings were in the fire, an insurance job no doubt.

P.S Regardless of the nature of the topic of this thread, it’s made me laugh uncontrollably tonight while reading it. Thanks ☺

Media said his fans would be shocked though. I don't think it coming out it's someone who was accused in the past of rape would shock anyone.
