If you think of it this way, everyone here on this thread, the Disney YTers thread, and a few others have heard about the cruise. Judging by availability on the remaining Tilbury cruises uptake is dying off (Liverpool was nearly a complete sellout in comparison). Their existing market is drying up a little and they've still got cruises to go.
Its very smart of Disney to try and hit new markets who wouldn't choose a Disney cruise as their first stop, so they invited typically non-Disney family influencers and younger solo influencers. By getting them on and with even a few stories they could potentially get a few people checking out the DCL website and seeing the offers/prices. Out of the recent stuff Disney marketing have done this seems to make the most sense.
sure guess so, I never thought of it like that xx i imagine all the disney vloggers were p*ssed though, which is quite amusing really. Makes sense though from a marketing point of view. I do think gifting a cruise to some frontline workers would have been great publicity for them rather than influencers that clearly earn a lot of money already.
Victoria wasn't at the Disney Plus event the other night I don't think, Brogan was but didn't take Victoria as her plus one, I was surprised Victoria wasn't invited to that.
