I don't mind her spreading it out but she needs to do it with much more finesse. Abruptly and arbitrarily ending the video while drawing some picture at the dinner table is aggravating. She should have filmed a room tour and continued the video up until dinner. Then start the next video with dinner. She could have teased it by saying "stay tuned to find out what I ate and what I thought of my first Disney cruise meal". Unfortunately she has no production skills whatsoever.

She wants to make vlogging her profession but she's not doing anything to enhance her skills. Go figure.🙄 If I were her I'd be watching videos of the top YouTubers and pay close attention to how they set up and edit videos.

. I am very interested to see how her park days will go when she will be forced to pay to bypass the lines of the less popular rides or pay the ridiculous amount of money, we all know the most popular rides will cost.
She won’t though - her TM will mean she qualifies for DAS pass. I think she’s said in the past that she qualifies for but hasn’t used DAS very much as she uses fastpass but now free fastpass is gone I expect she’ll use it to do the 2-3 rides a day that she usually does on a park day.

I bet all the Disney vloggers are absolutely livid that Lucy Jessica Carter, who isn't a Disney bloggers, got gifted a stay on the Disney cruise for her and her entire family 👀
I was surprised who Disney gifted the cruise stays to to be honest. It was a lot of people I would never associate with Disney and a lot that are just known for buying a shed load of followers on their Instagram & never mention Disney and hardly really showed much of the cruise. Least the Disney vloggers have more of an interest in being there (well some of them anyway). Guess most of the Disney vloggers had already booked the cruise so Disney saw no point in gifted them anything...bet a lot of them weren't happy about that though.

I think she was gifted because she actually has young children so it was quite nice seeing the cruise with that in mind, its one thing I can't find much content on is disney vloggers with children doing the parks etc.

I agree I think that'll be why, basically none of the UK Disney vloggers have kids.

Plus if you're Disney you need to be reaching out beyond the superfan community to make some dough.

The thing is, Victoria is a nice person, does okay vlogs but has absolutely not concept of what it's like to travel with a young family or children. So whenever she gives advice like 'oh I can imagine if you were travelling with children ....' I'm like No Victoria, you cannot imagine! There would be no Joffreys, it would be an insane dash to all the children friend rides, snack packs and drinks carried in massive bags and a constant look out for the next toilet :ROFLMAO:

I work in marketing and agree. This is simply outreaching to attract new customers who won’t be aware of the cruise. They already know the Disney vloggers will go and promote it anyway.

If you think of it this way, everyone here on this thread, the Disney YTers thread, and a few others have heard about the cruise. Judging by availability on the remaining Tilbury cruises uptake is dying off (Liverpool was nearly a complete sellout in comparison). Their existing market is drying up a little and they've still got cruises to go.

Its very smart of Disney to try and hit new markets who wouldn't choose a Disney cruise as their first stop, so they invited typically non-Disney family influencers and younger solo influencers. By getting them on and with even a few stories they could potentially get a few people checking out the DCL website and seeing the offers/prices. Out of the recent stuff Disney marketing have done this seems to make the most sense.
