God complex is strong with this one. It makes me feel very uncomfortable.

If you haven’t read the DM article, you should. He rips off clients. And there is a really distasteful embedded video of him giving a child born without a right hand a bionic forearm and hand and holding up a phone saying ‘look what I’ve bought you’

I doubt it. I’m sure I’ve seen him actively say such services don’t help so he doesn’t refer. (don’t quote me on that though). I do know he doesn’t seem refer to services he/Depher knows offers specialist support.
He’s also said he won’t take referrals from charities (even small ones) as he thinks they should pay out of their budget.
 
I unfollowed this guy about a year or so ago as he kept posting pictures of vulnerable, often elderly and disabled people, describing them as starving and cold etc and how he’d come in and saved their life etc. It felt really exploitative, I doubt my 81 year old dad could understand or give consent for social media so I don't think it’s right posting people or even their empty cupboards etc, it just gave me the ick.

So James has said “Shall we help, or will the trolls accuse us of being liars and grifters”. Here is the post…

Assuming this is real, how will this get through his checks?

1. Why has Christmas wiped you out? Have you overspent?
2. Your salary automatically switches to maternity pay and it sounds like that hasn’t happened yet so you’re still being paid a normal wage. Again, have you overspent?
3. No offer of repayment?

The slightest bit of investigation into this shows it’s nothing more than smoke and mirrors. The only thing to come from this post is that apparently someone has overspent and now wants money to subsidise them until their next salary. How does this get through but lots of other more deserving ones don’t?

Assuming it’s real he clearly knows the person well, they call him Jimmy and end “all my love”. People he know can obviously need help but it would raise an awful lot of questions about prioritisation if they get it straight away when others have had to wait for checks and certainly isn’t something you’d imagine he’d be posting.

How on earth is this person going to cope when they actually have two babies to look after? 😬
Pregnancy is the cheap stage of having children.

So has Depher started whinging about people actually having some critical thinking skills? Of course 'trolls'.
 
There are many things I roll my eyes at. And a few that just plain infuriate me. This is up there in my top one.

She didn’t “beat” cancer. She hasn’t been ‘fighting’ it. She has been incredibly lucky that her cancer has responded to treatment, that was probably delivered promptly and at a relatively early stage. Any other opinion can get in the bleeping bin. This language needs to change. No one who dies from having cancer is, by implication, a loser, less brave, less of a “fighter” to stay alive for themselves and their loved ones. Just unluckier.

Omg he is so wierd and unprofessional. Long self pitying rants about trolls and bullies. He is obsessed.
I wouldn't trust him in the slightest.

Then there was a wierd post about some ex girlfriend only being interested in him for his children's child benefits.
Why is he so unprofessional? Why is he always contacting the police when someone says something he doesn't like?
 
His behaviour is awful. When I used to have an active account on X I never followed but he always popped up and something gave me a bad vibe. The way he exploits the people he helps on social media for popularity, the constant drama, the grammar and spelling. It’s all so unprofessional, and thankfully I never donated to him because all of it put me off.

Can’t believe people are still stupid enough to give him money.
