Deliciously Ella #4 Bland burgers and branding under CEO Matt, daily affirmations won’t change that

The yoghurts didn't sell well in my local waitrose. It was always reduced
same in mine! If they really were doing 'so so well' I don't think the manufacturer would have shut down. Profitable businesses dont just close for no reason. LOL at her saying that it's all part of the ups and downs of running a business - ie move on folks, nothing to see here. Why can't she just admit it was a failure rather than being so self righteous and smug as per usual?

There’s a gap in the market for child-friendly yoghurts, which need to be both tasty and free from:
Dairy
Soya
Coconut
Pea protein
And definitely gluten free if oat based

As an allergy-parent, I know the allergy world would absolutely welcome this.

You can have that for free Ella if you can bear to exclude coconut

Don't know if yours was the same but any time I saw them they'd never have more than a tray out. The others would have more stock.
If it was so successful and it's the factory thats closed surely they'd be moving production to another factory

She never ever acknowledged the utter mess that her deli closure was - and the way they handled it was absolutely disgusting and unfair towards their employees. They are mega irresponsible and they don’t give a duck about the people who work for them.

Do you know what happened? All I remember is them suddenly closing without hearing anything about it. I still find it so strange that they decided to open an upmarket restaurant instead. The deli was definitely a better idea but they didn’t execute it well.

They had 3 delis at one point. They had close 2 down and they did it overnight. Their staff didn’t know till the morning when they were told they don’t need to open. It’s all public because there are articles about it.

they kept one deli that had an all gf menu for a while. Then they moved away from gf completely and opened the restaurant and launched a bunch of products.

oh my 😱 I'm listening to her podcasts, some of them. They are so monotone. Not a good idea especially after lunch, it makes me so sleepy. They need to eat more red meat and lots of fruits, get some adrenaline boost 🤣🤣 mah gawd, how someone can start a podcast about health and nutrition that makes people snooze. 😴😴

I never saw anything like this happen at any upscale bars or restaurants… they do not do this. And to write this reply… this is absolutely terrible and what you’d expect from your local Weatherspoons.

So thrilled to have found this thread, I purposely had a look at it as I am sick of her tit. Admittedly I bought into Ella when she very first came out as she is once of the OG influencers of this kind and I was a bit of more of a Sunday Papers wanker back then.

I went to her original restaurant which was beyond shocking, I am happy to go into detail in a separate post but that was when I started to realise she was only in it for the money. Since I started doing my own research and looking at what she produces, I can only advise people to avoid like the plague. Her recipes are seriously unbalanced and marketed irresponsibly.

Her products are some of the absolute worst offenders on the market in terms of processing and sugars and despite the fact I live in a very Waitrose town, you never see much of her stuff on the shelves and it’s never sold out.

I am honest baffled as to who her audience is now, only the wilfully ignorant I can assume.
