I think Zoe will regret that video. I think she’s already lost a lot of the loyal customers and probably will continue to do so. I did initially feel sorry for her because the comments were awful and she was being blamed for graces decision. This post has obviously come from that and she’s probably sick of being blamed but it’s not a professional thing to post if you want to maintain the current success of your business. She must be aware of how much loyalty people had to grace. The video she’s put out was a terrible decision.
 
I don’t think grace comes across as bitter at all. In my opinion Zoe is the one who sounds bitter, grace has had to come out and make another statement addressing what Zoe said, it’s all starting to get a bit messy though!! Where does she state they are trying for a baby? I thought on a question the other week she said they won’t be having a baby together as they were happy as they were.
 
So I’m guessing if Zoe don’t buy Grace out Grace will still receive an income from dead sweet? If there’s still a dead set at the end of it that is.

I really feel for the staff, it seemed to be a well running business now it will have to start over with premises and staff as I’m guessing people won’t want to move up north from Brighton and their families.

This is where I’m confused because Grace says she is having no part of it whatsoever but Zoe said she’s not buying her out. I’m not good at anything to do with businesses so I don’t know how it works but it would be a huge thing to walk away from a business with nothing. Well I think she will walk away with integrity actually as she did do the post after Zoe’s but remained calm and professional about it imo
 
At Christmas grace and Kelly had posted about a baby. They’ve posted this week about an announcement. Maybe children’s wear or something?

Zoe’s timing wasn’t good as should’ve let the dust settle and wait till Grace had left. But then can see why she’s snapped and had her say with so many negative comments and people being obsessed with Grace.

I’m confused by the business ownership of dead sweet seeing as Grace said she’s having nothing to do with it. Zoe said shes
Not buying Grace out.
 
By from what I understood they are winding down their Ltd. company. So dead sweet as it is will no longer exist to trade and then Deadsweet either under a different/ similar name will trade in the new location in York.

Especially as they said there would be sales the get rid of the stock. Might suggest a new start/ company

But I could be wrong so ignore me otherwise 😂😂

No that actually makes sense! So Zoe will keep the name essentially but the rest won’t stay. So probably new mixes and names of mixes etc

Zoe said in the comments on one of her videos they will be changes to the mixes.
Someone asked would she be making changes and putting her own stamp on things and she said 'yes definitely I have lots of ideas and am very ambitious'.

They're dissolving this company and Zoe is starting another. But it will be a continuation of Deadsweet in the sense she will be keeping proprietary things like the name, logos and suppliers
 
I really feel for Grace, it seems throughout the whole process of owning the business and dealing with things, she’s always stayed truthful and professional.

I can’t take to Zoe personally, but I don’t like sweets so it’s not going to make a blind bit of difference to my life.
I will continue to watch Grace’s journey though
 
Both videos are gone. Probably for the best to be honest as they still need to run a business.
For those who didn’t see Zoe’s there is a comment on the new tiktok linking to someone’s profile where they’ve posted it.
Theyve lost a lot of followers and Graces post was right in that she and the team will still be working there so boycotting the business whilst they’re still there will impact them. But it was deleted. I think any chance of a friendship that could have continued has now been burned since Zoe’s post.

Sadly the thing is with social media everyone has their opinion and feels the need to comment. Seeing comments like “I don’t like Zoe she’s x y z” on the dead sweet tiktok is just mean and unnecessary.

they’ve not thought through what they posted and each then posted without thinking clearly or speaking to the other. Makes it really obvious there’s bad blood between them.
 
I know I am one of very few who think this, but I found Grace absolutely insufferable. I thought she came across really full of herself, self-absorbed, and over defensive. Especially if someone made a very inoffensive comment pointing something out that Grace did/said something wrong, she would come back with a video saying how horrible and negative people are and to be kinder. Just really full-on. I have seen a couple people on Tiktok comment similar things about her, so I know I am not the only one 😂

I like Amy and Kelly though!
 
I really feel for Grace.
Yes, Zoe obviously invested money into the company with Grace as a partner and did the graphic designing.
But Grace was the one who was down in Brighton and built the company up from nothing, built a large social media following from nothing. She was also working all hours of the day managing the staff and warehouse.
Then just before xmas Zoe moves down and they've obviously found they don't get along.
Now all the hard work has been unravelled by a mis-judged video by Zoe.

They opened the business together without ever actually meeting.
Zoe said in a comment they started talking through tiktok and realised they had the same vision and jumped into it.
There is a lesson here for them and anyone else.

Sometimes I can understand being so defensive. Like with the Ukraine thing. People were begging her for a Ukraine mix. She instead chooses to donate a percentage of profits.
People then say she was being opportunistic.
Damned if you do, damned if you don't.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion lovely. A good thing about tattle is we can have a different opinion and still carry on having conversations. Not everyone is going to like everyone. I’ve got plenty of people I can’t stand on tiktok 😂
