Yep, a pig ignorant, epically delusional thick useless moron with social services crawling through their pointless, permanently dysfunctional, soul sucking, painfully unproductive lives. Shock. Not.
It's almost Darwinian though, at this point, properly so, when the owner's stupidity results in their own offspring getting mauled to the point of uselessness and reproductive unavailability or just taken out of the genepool one by one.
Gov should have culled all XLs despite the screamers, but now this is what we get - to watch the drip drip of incidents as the morons who have hung onto the horrible beasts have their kids slowly get mauled to death by them. Still, better than strangers. I prefer those who own the dogs to take the brunt of their viciousness, I certainly prefer their kids to get killed rather than those of someone sensible who doesn't expect society to support their uncivilised notions and actions, and well, looks like they are!
I don't think most of them are functional enough to even recognise that their kids getting mauled into severe disability or killed is even their fault when it's 100% their fault and if they had a functional conscience, which they don't, they'd be unable to live with the guilt and helpfully off themselves. I think a lot of them would keep the killer dog around for a second go if they could and defend it if it attacked another of their own kids. They seem to perform a proxy role for whatever is missing in their lives. Men, it's a penis extension, women it's the thuggy 'protector' man/father they can't keep but wish they had at home. of course like thuggy 'protective' men, the violence usually ends up being inflicted in the domestic sphere, on their family.

I've just been reading this one about Kevin Jones who died last year. His daughter-in-law has pled not guilty, although there's no mention of what's happening with the son and apparently he was the owner

I have a large terrier who was a rescue dog, my sister has a staffy who is also from a rescue. Both dogs had issues with appropriate behaviour when we first got them. The staffy has such a powerful fat head he busted out of his crate using his skull to bend the bolt open and was stealing food .
My terrier is a Kerry blue, a breed notorious for trying to gain the upper hand and for pushing boundaries. They are also incredibly sensitive and feel aggrieved easily. We had to be so consistent with rules, my dog is not allowed on the beds and sleeps in his crate. He has to wait for humans to go over thresholds first and go up/downstairs before him, rules about food and feeding.
Dog training isn't just toilet training plus sit and stay, it's much more and it's constant. The Kerry a year on is a lovely lovely boy who adores humans but he is still a dog.

doesn't matter if the dog "wasn't aggressive" and only 'playing', the outcome is it killed someone. I struggle to understand the "the dog didn't mean to" defence, it suggests the dog is so dangerous it can kill a man without aggression. but they are aggressive and there's no place for them as a family pet
Agree, and to have one these monsters as a family pet? I don't get it.
There really needs to be more done, every week there's a horrific story about these, I'm a massive dog lover, but I think a cull needs to be done.

I agree. This is Kevin Jones’ son David trying to give away dogs on Facebook, after his xl bully killed his own dad. And he’s also been breeding puppies

There's a report out today - cant remember where - but police have been culling up to 100 a week since the ban. It's a start I guess.

I watched two parents today walking with their two dogs, one mongrel type and one hell beast XL bully. I was sitting in traffic. One of the parents had the baby in the papoose. No prizes as to guessing which dog bleeping LUNGED up at the baby for no apparent reason. The parents just swished it away with their hands. What the duck??
