I loved last years gang.
I still think Jordan Conroy should have won but the Irish horse racing community were all voting for Nina. His final dance with Salome was incredible and I loved his Charleston with Emily who is lovely.
I’m not a fan of the pro who was with Billy. The young Irish one , she was always out of time in the group dances.
I actually think it’s a better show than strictly less showmances anyway

Agreed, I think it's a very good show.
Also agree that the Irish dancer who was with Billy is probably the weakest pro ever. Yeah and Jordan and Salome definitely deserved to win they were out of this world !

Shame next year is apparently the last. Nice bit of glitz on a miserable January evening.
 
I know it's the S*n but this article gives a bit of info on it - seems like there are financial issues at RTE and it's just too expensive to do the show any more. Even this year, they are apparently cutting down to 9 couples:

Pasquale probably made the right decision opting for the Italian version instead. Guessing a couple of the other pros might be sending their Strictly applications out soon.
 
Makes no sense. RTE surely make more from advertising this show than it costs to produce it. The audience figures are sky high every year, the advertising & sponsorship should be making them a fortune

She's a dose. She is a radio presenter (no qualification) and supposed comedian who has had a TV show doing cruel impressions of instahuns, then gone full instahun herself. She's not a good TV presenter (has done small bits and is too loud, laughs at her own jokes, visibly nervous of missing cues etc) and will bring similar energy to the current presenter Jen Z, so an odd choice to say the least.
(If you're not getting the vibe, I'll just confirm it: I'm a big fan)

How did she get a radio presenter gig with no experience/qualification?
