Have you seen the damage delayed GP appointments and cancer diagnoses are having?
Have you seen the damage that unemployment and mental health decline is having??
The virus is not killing a worrying amount of people.
Out of the 3 who died today ‘with a covid + test’ how many were elderly, unwell or already in hospital with another condition?
Whilst you people are dying of cancer or delayed surgeries.
This ‘delta variant’ aka a summer cold is not causing damage. We have tests, we have a vaccine, we need to crack the hell on with life now.

I'm getting seriously pissed off with the lack of clarity, we've been hearing for the last week what % of hospitalisations have been fully vaccinated, partially vaccinated or not vaccinated but what hasn't been clarified is whether they were actually in hospital for covid or for another entirely seperate reason and happened to test positive while there. I want to see proper data, not half baked shit that is meaningless

Up to a few days ago 30% were double vaccinated

I work in railway and have seen a lot more suicides/attempts in the past few months. There is a real mental health pandemic going on which the government are blind to …
It's not just that, it's peoples general behaviour, I went for a run the other day, woman was coming towards me and we both moved to our right then she shot her arm out to make sure I kept a metre. Not going to lie, I just kept going and whacked her arm, there's more chance of a bus mounting the pavement and taking us both out than either one of us catching covid from a brief encounter on a pavement. Friend plays tennis with a guy who refuses to serve if another match is on the court next to him and a player is serving from the side nearest him, he won't wipe his face with a towel incase any virus is on it and he won't stay for a coffee. He's had both vaccinations but is terrifed still, I doubt he will ever get back to normal.

It is definitely a summer cold now they've gone oh look a runny nose is a symptom this time. Behave. Masks are in the bin and I'm living my life. Soz Bojo

Over 50,000 couples are due to get married between 21 June and 4 weeks after that. If weddings are still restricted that will impact caterers, florists, hairdressers, make up artists, photographers, vidoeographers, DJs, live bands, hoteliers, need I continue?
Im getting married on 8th july, as Ive said on this thread before.
With this bullshit announcement of saying that numbers are reflected on the venues social distancing capacity i can now have a measly 36 at my day. Masks and no dancing.
Heartbroken :(

Unemployment rates increased last year but have already started coming down in 2021.
Delayed appointments have had a huge impact that reducing restrictions won’t solve, if anything opening everything too quickly could cause hospitalisations to increase and cause even more problems to delayed appointments. They need to increase funding to get through the backlogs.
Surely we want to reduce deaths all round and be sensible?
The people who my dad was in hospital with that died had been ill for a long time with COVID it wasn’t necessarily old people just people who got it before vaccines were available.

Vaccines vaccines vaccines vaccines 😴😴

They're very good, they're providing cover, theyre protecting the vulnerable, they're the way forward.

Vaccines vaccines vaccines 😴😴

Everyone needs 2 vaccines, the vulnerable need to take their second vaccine - wtf? If they haven't taken them now them they're not going too!

Vaccines vaccines vaccines 😴😴

The young need at least one jab to protect the people we've just told you have 85% protection.

They don't even believe their own stuttering words, and why?
Because even the dumbest person out there understands that its all bollocks and they do too!!
I’m sure I read ages ago that the evolution of the virus was changing to infect younger people anyway, that’s in countries that have poor vaccination in their vulnerable people yet they’re claiming it’s down to the vaccines.
