I did Irish at school but started back learning it recently...not that there will be any more lessons for a while.
It's only useful if everyone else in the house can speak it ,otherwise your just talking to yourself LOL.. but I remember some from school ,and that was many moons ago ..it was a certain politician's mother taught me (and not Pat ******) LOL..

My parents go with me to lessons ans I have 2 other family members who are fluent and teach it....but to be honest i do it more to get out of the house of ab evening 😂😂

I know I'm being really paranoid here, but I'd rather Scotland named the towns like England do, rather than health board. I like to know what I'm dealing with on a local basis rather than a swathe of area y'know?

Yes! There was one on the map about 10 minutes from where I live. A red confirmed case and then it disappeared so I don't trust that either

Sorry for the boring question but I am self employed, when the schools close I’m going to lose my income - my income maintains my 30 hours free childcare, will I have to declare myself unemployed and lose my childcare then claim for it again when I get back to work. I’m panicking and confused

Oh Jesus my sons never want to speak to me anyway ( too busy gaming now ) never mind in Irish LOL..

My husband is joining me in 12 weeks isolation as of tomorrow. So relieved his work has been so understanding, his boss is also going into isolation to protect his pregnant wife. I really feel for those who live alone and have who nobody, and who must isolate to protect themselves. The loneliness would be horrific..

He is normally such a cool and collected person and he cried tonight when he got home because he is worried so much about me :( this is already having a huge effect on the mental health of thousands, and the worst part is there is worse to come and I think there's still a huge portion of people NOT taking this seriously at all.

My Dad is SUPPOSED to be self isolating. But alas he’s been out all day.

Any tips/advice? He’s not staying in and doesn’t care and I’m so anxious and worried

Iv just seen a make artist claim she's cleaning her salon before and after every client so apps are still fine to go ahead. I mean is that even achievable
I went to my hairdressers today and they are doing exactly that, well the cleaning the stations at least. My appointment started later but it was cleaned before they say me down and started cleaning as soon as I'd finished.

She also opens now an hour later to deep clean at the start and end of each day.

I feel your pain, my parents are 86 and 82. Because they lived through the war they think they are invincible . Boris’s own father said he will continue to go to the pub! They are old enough to make their own decisions, however frustrating it is for us.
