My god and only a week till lockdown ends.
I know. I was expecting cases to be a lot lower and nearly 700 fatalities. Awful.

I would be pissed to no end if I was expected to do unpaid overtime and then told to go to Iceland and buy a ready meal. It shows good faith from the employer to feed their staff and make sure they’re having nice meals. Imagine the queue at a microwave for ready meals lol
Or you can order. But lets order takeaways, when people in the NHS have to pay.
The bill for overtime during this pandemic would be more than the bill for takeaways.Forcing people to do unpaid overtime, I wouldn't be bothered if the money went to their wages than the food.
Really not in any I have worked in.In many areas of the public sector it is also the case, sure not all but many government departments have similar rules.
Shocker you don't pay for your own train when you have to attend a meeting across the country either.
Those figures are quite shocking.I know. I was expecting cases to be a lot lower and nearly 700 fatalities. Awful.
Is this Canada? As see Alberta has declared a state of emergency including closing high schools.

I said this all along. They want us to get it, but they want us to “make our own decision” so they can’t be held responsible
Seems a lot of people are having the same thoughtsI said this all along. They want us to get it, but they want us to “make our own decision” so they can’t be held responsible
The deaths are around 4 weeks behind so can’t be used as an indicator as to whether we should be in a lockdown. We will not see the effect of the lockdown on the death rate for a few weeks yet.696 deaths how the hell are we coming out of lockdown and into tiers which no one will follow? How can they make retail and stuff freeforall in Tier 3 areas? Click and collect should be the only thing operating
The thing is healthcare has gone up it’s now 16,570 so I can’t see much of a difference tbhThe deaths are around 4 weeks behind so can’t be used as an indicator as to whether we should be in a lockdown. We will not see the effect of the lockdown on the death rate for a few weeks yet.
