Just watched Sky News reporting on care homes. One manager said he allows relatives to visit because it helps the residents enormously.
One daughter in Bradford said she has only ever been allowed to talk to her mother through an open door since lockdown, and her poor mum can't understand why she won't go in.
Another lady volunteers in the care home where her father lives. She said she knows how lucky she is to see him whenever she's there, and she helps with activities to keep the spirits up in the home. Wonderful idea.
It's hopeful that we might soon be able to see mum again.
