I’ve had a headache I cannot shift for weeks (I tested negative on my last test under the Oxford study) which I think is stress/general sadness.
I know it probably feels like it won’t help but I used to get stress/ anxiety headaches a lot and I use the roll on things called 4head and it works MIRACLES. even the smell of it is so soothing, I really really recommend it xx

No thanks I'd rather not

I doubt even 0.01% of the fraud that's happening when the government is handing out so much money will ever be investigated.

But nevermind, it's only 60+ years for us mugs to pay it all back
You're definitely right in that the majority probably won't be caught but I know that investigations are happening and not just for larger businesses. It's not out of the realms of possibility she may get get found out. Which quite honestly would serve her right because it sounds like she's being quite greedy (and y'know casually committing fraud).

Thank you, I have tried most things as I have always had them and I’ve just ordered some cooling rub from the people that cool patches to see if that helps. If not I’ll give it a go XX

Try the patches you stick on your head too. When I feel a headache/migraine coming on they both do so well at reducing it. I didn’t think they’d work but they do.

All the speculation about more lockdowns and tighter restrictions so we can have a more normal Christmas is just bleghhh!!!
Can we really sacrifice more job losses, more business closures, more people suffering with their mental health just for a few days of Christmas! I hate the thought of having to pay back the time in tighter lockdown just for a few days.
This lockdown has been so tough with the longer evenings, and gloomy days... I can’t imagine going through January and February like This

Just watched Sky News reporting on care homes. One manager said he allows relatives to visit because it helps the residents enormously.

One daughter in Bradford said she has only ever been allowed to talk to her mother through an open door since lockdown, and her poor mum can't understand why she won't go in.

Another lady volunteers in the care home where her father lives. She said she knows how lucky she is to see him whenever she's there, and she helps with activities to keep the spirits up in the home. Wonderful idea.

It's hopeful that we might soon be able to see mum again. 🥰
Yes, studies show that the elderly who are isolated deteriorate a lot (even if they were not sick before) and as soon as they can see family again, they become more healthy. It has a huge impact on them.

I absolutely agree with you about businesses having to close. It's just unacceptable.

Do you feel happier now that you've done some Xmas shopping? 😃
I felt happy in the range
Went all downhill other shops too busy and no social distancing.
Bus home was quiet at least.

Really worried if lockdown extended further 2 weeks how we manage Jan credit card i guess. If extended beyond that and non essential shops still not allowed to open then we are on serious financial trouble as no savings left to sustain us.
Today husband company decided put all staff on 100% furlough except for managers who expected be in closed stores answer phones do admin and manage flooring being fitted as fitters allowed peoples homes.

Xmas is not worth 3 more weeks of lockdown.
High percentage uk population are jot Christian and their faith celebrations have suffered.

The Real Junk Food Company have a great idea

The cafes , restaurants here always provide free Christmas dinners for anyone in need there’s lots of charity that goes on all year round one place in particular always gets lots of stuff given to them from money to furniture to food and they just started their toy appeal 2 weeks ago this is just some of the stuff they’ve been given so far

So many people I know have covid. Both my next door neighbours. Ones a teacher ones a nurse. Next door but one - retired.
My best friend she’s a nurse. My colleagues daughter - a doctor
I’m feeling slightly anxious 😟 just going to sit here and drink wine 🍷

Same as my aerobics classes so I have packed them in and will do freebies from youtube.
The gym I go to does ‘live’ classes every night - free for all. They just want people to keep active.

I feel like they’re playing with us. They being the government.

planting little seeds and observing which ones grow and which ones do not.

Oh definitely. just like they always do, seeing how the public react before they take action 🙄 I’m over that. Not paying attention to the news headlines anymore was the best decision I made this year, I don’t feel like I’m drowning in the negativity and speculation.
