I read a while ago the Chinese doctors think it lies dormant in the body ,then flares up in some people..but they said it's not infectious at this stage ?

That's what weve all said. Dont mind if it's a safe environment but theres no way I'm bringing anything home to my kids.
I'll just self isolate if its anywhere I dont think is safe or necessary.

The number of deaths is still being reported on the BBC as 475 as of yesterday, but this says it was up to 578 yesterday? So did they lie?

Anyone in a similar position to us? Very confused with the self employed announcement. My partner is a sub contractor, so doesn’t actually earn a ‘profit’ he’s effectively paid a wage, yet still classed as self employed! Unsure if we can even get the help, although getting it in bloody June will be no help for us anyway 
is this right? if so that makes me feel somewhat better. I feel sick to my stomach

Yes I've read on twitter. The reported deaths are also over longer period of time because of the delay from yesterday and the way they're changing the reports

My husband kicked off on Tuesday saying that it's impossible to work 2m apart and the boss doesnt care at all. Not interested in this virus just getting money. He works for an engineering company which make non essential stuff. He walked off out and said he isn't coming back till Monday. He doesn't want to go back but he will have no choice as its either unpaid leave or use all his holidays up. Some people are just taking advantage of the situation. Fuming
This is reassuring. We are far behind. I don’t think we will be seeing the same numbers italy and Spain saw at all.

Cant beloved asos are still running. My partner said they had a 20% off sale. Encouraging people to buy stuff they certainly dont need at this moment in time!!

Was 70% off last week.
Sites like Asos, boohoo etc always have some sort of sale, god knows why

I keep getting emails from shopping apps I have with "get 75% off" and so on 
I tell the notification to eff off, yes I talk to my phone I refuse to buy any clothes or unnecessary items until all this is over. I admit I've done one online order today, but it was on an online pharmacy I use as they had hand sanitizer back in stock, so an essential item.
