My son had his booster today, so I hope Spain don’t drop them or I’ll be fuming he didn’t listen to me 😀
 
Also the first time since December 18 that under a thousand people have been admitted to hospital :)

ZOE tracker is useless and means nothing. We should only go on registered cases as we have all the way through and not guess work of Zoe. I should start my own app and make out the daily case number announced is too high and therefore wrong. It would be as meaningful as ZOE.

I thought it was quite an accurate tracker. Registered cases do not mean that is the actual figure. Many people don’t bother registering a positive test from lateral flow tests.

The US funding gain of research there was also denied repeatedly until it was admitted.

No one has forgotten the health workers, but this pandemic has destroyed the world, we are now entering a very dark time and people are just glad there is an end before it looks like we enter extreme poverty and world war 3!

No one’s forgotten the health workers, but GP surgeries have forgotten us and are still driving people to queue up outside A&E as a last resort because people can’t get an appointment still!!

GPS have been looking for ways to avoid seeing people for year, they jumped at the chance to go contactless and refuse people and unless the Government stands up to them they will carry on. Ours have subbed it out to Push Doctor, I hate to think at what cost!

They are health workers just as hospitals and carers and should never have stopped seeing people but allowed people to see them online or by phone by choice.

People only register their results if they need the result as proof for work / education. It's like a sort of sick note almost.
I've also heard that visitors to some hospitals need the the text/ email of a negative lft to be allowed it.

I have been pondering the reason behind all the Covid restrictions now lifting. Just seems such a quick turn around. Not saying I agree or disagree, I honestly have no idea what is for the best.
However, I do not think it is a coincidence that they have been lifted the same time all this is going on between Russia and Ukraine! Covid has crippled the economy, if and big if, the UK have to actually go to war Boris and our current government know that funding it would cripple us further. They need the country running again and at full capacity, they can’t have folk isolating on contact and business’s loosing money, they can’t afford to fund free testing etc. IMO this is the reason, most people have said it is a political decision I originally thought for popularity purposes and a deflection from party gate. I’m now thinking it is so much more. I sound like such a theorist but to me it makes sense!!
