I have Covid right now. Yes it is. I've had colds heavier than this. A cold is a coronavirus, just a different mutation.

No it is not. That’s just you. Your experience does not mean it is a cold. A cold does not leave the impact on your body like Covid does. Does the common cold leave people with brain shrinkage of 0.2 - 2% like Covid-19 was found to do in some people?

I think the point is that saying "it's just a cold" implies that everyone who catches covid nowadays will get mild cold-like symptoms (or none at all), which isn't the case.

Some will, but not all. Yet most people who say the above usually do so as a way of justifying why everything should go back to 100% normal - including no masks in hospitals and other healthcare settings.

Thing is we don't know how many people have had covid to get a real percentage it seems hospital aquired infection has risen massively so somethings going wrong somewhere masks /testing or not .

We do know what it can do to people and the lasting damage/long term effects it can have on so many of the organs.
That's from the data they have ,what about those that never bothered testing ? for all we know the rest of the world could've already had it ,we just don't know .

Free testing ends at the end of the month btw if anyone wants to stock up.

To some people it will be ,we can't judge one persons symptoms and effects like anothers ,our bodies react differently .

It is like a cold in the way some people will feel/be very ill and others won't even notice. Colds have always been like that. Some people can be knocked off their feet by a cold and can take ages to shake off, another person could catch it and just have a light sniffle
