Our schools start back on Thursday cases will be twice as bad once it ripps through the schools and wider community I don't know how they'll keep up with our limited resources .

They

They are changing before my eyes and the 1st time it happened it was after like 12 mins. I swear I time them and check at the Timer and the ones that are negative are completely negative. I’m wondering Is it picking up the Swine flu from fecking 9 years ago deep in my nose. Like if I showed you the one my hubby took only the night before and he will take that brand tomorrow as he tests every 3-4 days and it will be neg. So I’m baffled.
Maybe your one of those people that test pos for years after the infection the lines don't seem to be any darker they look static.

Sorry if that sounded bad I was trying to think of why it might be that you’ve had so much inconsistency! Could you have had it asymptomatically several weeks ago and the tests are still picking up the lingering virus perhaps? Not sure if that would account for the difference in lateral flows and PCR. So annoying!

I won’t lie it’s so annoying but it’s only that brand so it’s super sensitive. Any other test is neg. I am not vaxxed so for proof I would need to show I have it it’s more the fear of not knowing and being bleeping annoyed that my kids and hubby do the same test and get neg. 🤪🤪 like at least If they were screwed tests we would all be in the same boat. I will never know the answer and I could get it sometime soon from my son or hubby who is back to work again Monday so I’ll just have to do one every 3 to 4 days til this wave passes.

Does anyone have friends or family who are clinically vulnerable (e.g. diabetes/obese) who have caught covid and had fairly mild symptoms? I've been very careful (hermit-ish) for 2yrs, vaxed and booster and know that I need to live my life in 2022.... (looking for reassurance that the vax work I suppose)
My partner and I are both clinically vulnerable. . I tested positive on 29th Dec hes had 1 test where it was so so faint you could barely see it and 2 days later, negative. No symptoms at all for him. We're both jabbed and boosted.

Yeah I’m thinking that as I have bad sinuses also so could just be to do with that but it’s just that they were negative a week ago. Look if I get it I get it. I have to test every 3-4 days for my hubby and his job and just for peace of mind . I am not vaxxed and get silent pneumonia so I just will ride this wave out. ❤

Currently on day 4 of being positive and it's hell. Husband and 13 month old are luckily neg so I'm isolating in spare room and it's awful not seeing or holding my baby.

First and second nights were horrendous. I genuinely believed I would end up in hospital but now it seems to be easing off.

Had 2 vaxx but no booster yet

My 6 year old has tested positive, we've seen all the same people but I'm negative right now. I'm absolutely sick to the stomach with worry 😭 please do people have any reassuring stories of children having it!
Hello my 3 children had it in November.
1st child was fluey type bug for 48 hours, lethargic, fevery, just generally unwell but nothing more than a usual winter type of bug.
2nd and 3rd child zero symptoms whatsoever but positive results.
Myself fluey bug for 4 days, exhausted for a week after the 4 days.
Mr LMJ positive zero symptoms.
In November it has ran rife in my children’s school and most children were the same either zero symptoms or a fluey type bug which went after a few days & was helped with calpol / ibuprofen.
Hope you and your child aren’t too bad.
