Absolutely. Even on special occasions we would say “ going out for tea for grandad’s 80th” for example. The only other thing would be maybe “going out for a meal”. If I heard “let’s go for dinner”,I would presume a mid-day meal.

This is very much the case. I don't think Sarah and Adam have any chemistry either. Maybe they need a couple swap. I think Sarah was better with Gary and Maria better with Adam. While we're at it I don't think Imran and Toyah have any chemistry either.

She's such a crap actress they'd need to stick a mirror in front of her own face permanantly for her to have any genuine sexual chemistry with anyone
 
Apart from the train wreck of Emma\Curtis what is the big deal about Audrey’s cataracts? I mean my mam had them in both eyes and we didn’t make any major fuss over it. She’d beaten cancer twice by then and succumbed in the end to dementia so maybe we’d had more to strut over but cataracts were way down our list of worries. Mam lost her final battle at 71, Audrey must be 80+ and all she has to fret over is her cataracts and where her next G&T is coming from 🙄

I think I read a while back that there is to be a dementia storyline with Audrey? Which would explain them making a big scene out of something quite normal to lead up to it!
It made me laugh though with her making a big deal about getting her eyes tested… I’m blind as a bat and in my 20s, she’s doing pretty well for her age!

I thought this. Why be so precious about her eyesight in her late 70’s? It’s a given..

Haha,I knew this,but just had a little double check,Audrey is only 8 years older than Gail in real life. Always make me laugh 😂

So when Gail first came into it she was 23 playing a teenager. Then 5 years later Audrey joined so Gail was 28 irl and Audrey was 35/36. Imagine being 35 and told you look old enough to play a 28 year old's mother 😂
Anyway Audrey's become pretty unbearable over the past couple of years. I can't tell if the actress just doesn't give a tit any more or if she's been written that way haha
