Maybe the kid isn’t Adam’s and there’s a plot twist where he ends up cheating on Sarah with old flame Lydia and gets them both up the duff at the same time.
Good point. How old did that kid look? Adam was at uni more than 10 years ago. Lydia said her last serious relationship was at Edinburgh Uni
Where did Lydia emerge from? Does she work in the factory?
Thanks. I missed that.I think she’s a rep or something. Her and a male colleague came in for a meeting with Sarah the other day (I think it was last Friday)
I think that could be an interesting twist, better than a Lydia /Adam affair!Sarah's kid looked about 3/4 last night? I thought he was older than that?
Maybe Sarah is going to have a fling with Lydia? Seems a bit off the way she was acting around her.
I still don't get why they put Adam and Sarah together, they don't work as a couple imo. Where are they supposed to live?
They would work, if the writers could be bothered to put any effort in. But they can’t, and just stick stubbornly to their crap ideas, and dig their heels in ignoring what the viewers want. They want to put Sarah and Gary together, even though no one is rooting for them at all.I still don't get why they put Adam and Sarah together, they don't work as a couple imo. I find it strange they never show their apartmentin the same building where Leanne and nicks flat is I think
I thought she worked better with Gary, but maybe that's because I don't think Maria and Gary work. I might be on my own here, but I always thought Gary and Aliya worked well together. They would work, if the writers could be bothered to put any effort in. Just like Fizz and Tyrone.
This is what happens when the writers go for sensationalist stories all the time! Characters are always leaving, families breaking up and people being killed. There's no chance for any families to develop and grow over the years.I find it strange they never show their apartment

Apart from Fizz and Phil, who I think are a better couple than Fizz and Tyrone, I don't think there are any great couples on the street.
I'd forgotten a out Tim and Sally they make a great couple.
Sally & Tim should not work but they really do & I think they’re a great couple, I laughed so much one time they fell out & she told him she’d be keeping her pyjamas on at bedtimeI find it strange they never show their apartment

Yeah, Corrie didn’t like the public adoration for them apparently as they wanted to reunite Sally and Kevin.Sally & Tim should not work but they really do & I think they’re a great couple, I laughed so much one time they fell out & she told him she’d be keeping her pyjamas on at bedtime
Would you say you’re going ‘out for tea’ though? Maybe because it was an occasion and going to a restaurant is why they used dinnerIt really wound me up when Steve and Emma both talked about going out for “dinner“. I don’t know anyone born and bred in Manchester that says dinner for tea, it’s breakfast dinner tea.
I’d have thought the writers could have got that right.
No, you’d say going out for tea, dinner just sounds wrong. It can’t be Northerners writing the scriptWould you say you’re going ‘out for tea’ though? Maybe because it was an occasion and going to a restaurant is why they used dinner
