Someone mentioned it in an earlier thread about how it doesn’t work when they bring a secondary “sidekick” character into the main cast. I can’t take any storyline seriously when it includes Gemma at all… if they wanted her to be part of the regular cast they should have ditched the absolutely ridiculous outfits, and mannerisms - no one wears or acts like that in real life?
I also see ZERO point in the character of Beth, always got a face like slapped arse and always whining about something. She also doesn’t work as a regular character either. Her affair storyline was pathetic and felt it was only created to pay the actors wage that month.

They’re in serious need of a massive Corrie cleanse and at this point, Stephen is our only hope!

They did that storyline with Lily, didn't know if David or Nick was the dad till she was born.

I agree. It’s so bad. I hate Elaine, I don’t want Stephen to murder her though, me and my OH are mainly watching to see him get his comeuppance, but it’s so boring.

Stephen went to Dr gaddass and said he thought Elaine was depressed!! Of course The Dr couldn’t do anything as Elaine has to go herself. Obvs he’s going to try and give her a massive overdose and say she took her own life. Although how you’d get someone to take an overdose large enough to kill them without their knowledge remains to be seen!

Psycho-Stephen and his hijinks are the only part worth watching. He needs to do that simpering wreck in, bludgeon her with a baguette to really confuse Tim about bread.
