The trouble with today is its all so issue driven. This refugee thing at the moment is laudable in principle, but it's so ham fisted and awkward.

It's the same on Emmerdale at the moment, one of the teen characters has just come out and every time anyone refers to this project he's doing they make sure they say "LGBT +", like EVERY time, it's utterly cringe.

The actor who played Jacob is in a new ITV drama. Won’t let me post the link, but there’s a few well known names in it too. Called The Passenger.
Is it any good?

And it's all crammed in together. Spread the issues out over a period of time. Either do the racist/ refugee story or the Daisy stalker storyline. Not both together with a bit of psycho Steven thrown in.

There's an article on DS today which is quite good, they talk about how big events in the street don't seem to affect the community any more. No real talk about the terrorism stuff by anyone not directly affected. They compare it to how powerful the episode was after Aiden Connor died, with everyone affected whether they new him well or not.

I love the classic episodes for the community aspect
