There is obviously a production reason for it but the idea that NOT ONE of the terraced houses on the street have knocked out the back to create even a half decent kitchen. Like kens, the Bailey's, eileens, devs, all kitchens u wouldn't have in a bedsit never mind a 3 bed tardis. The baileys are builders and gutted the house and STILL kept a postage stamp kitchen. Im waaaay too invested in this. ive also always wondered why theyve never surreptitiously added a few houses in among the terrace. I mean we all know who lives in number 1 right nrxt to pub but who other than the hardline looper fans would query if they added a house next to devs shop.

Exactly. At least one of them would have put in a double decker extension.
