"Nikita Hand has been awarded the costs of her civil action against Conor McGregor in which a jury found he raped her in a Dublin hotel room in December 2018.
The judge made no order in relation to the costs of his friend James Lawrence.
The jury found Mr Lawrence did not rape Ms Hand, but the judge said it was not for the reasons he put forward in his defence.
He said the jury clearly believed Ms Hand and did not believe Mr McGregor and Mr Lawrence who were in "lockstep" in the case and it would be completely inappropriate to award costs to Mr Lawrence."
Cue Dee ranting that she's going to warn rapists everywhere about judges like this.

The costs were made on a party and party basis - not on a solicitor and client cost, which means Ms Hand will pay her own costs in relation to her civil action against Mr Lawrence. But Conor McGregor will have to pay the full costs of his side of the case.

Would be great if her solicitor waived his fee, presume they will still be quite expensive for Nikita.
So, does this mean, she only has to pay her costs for taking a claim against JL? Is that just the costs she owes to her team, or does she have court costs to pay too? Just wondering if her team could decide that she only owes them a nominal amount.

Let’s hope they front loaded all the costs under the McRapist heading. She may have to pay about 20% of her own costs, that could be 100k
