Interesting.. and makes sense judging by the lack of even the simplest form of cosmetic (or other) improvement she’s made to the haunted house.
Ops, I’m forgetting the genius 5 layers of paint over the flock wallpaper.

Looking at her garden designer they appeared to give her the job in November and yet we’ve had moan after moan since then about they can’t afford anything etc. It’s all smokescreens! If you are seriously worried about the cost of a renovation then you don’t commission a designer garden
She’s dropped in that apparently it’s Drippys dream to have a pool, not hers (I highly doubt that) and so that paves the way for doing the pool and coming up with some story about how it was the one thing he wanted.

If your priority is making your living spaces warm for your kids, and you tell everyone can’t afford to do that, you shouldn’t spend thousands on garden designs and high end renders of fantasy luxury gardens. You also wouldn’t go on loads of fancy holidays.

It is so bloomin offensive to cry ‘I can’t afford it,’ when your property portfolio is in the millions, and you holiday abroad multiple times a year.

Her trying to appear relatable with this ‘it’s out of our budget’ nonsense is disgusting. I wouldn’t dislike her if she was honest and real about being very well off and in the insanely lucky position she is in. It’s so disingenuous to expect viewers to accept her cries of poverty, when in comparison to 95% of folks in this country, she is very wealthy indeed. They’ve worked hard and been lucky, and developed excellent grifting skills. She should just own it and not try to align herself with ordinary people.

I don’t look at Tan France or Athena Calderone’s luxurious homes and feel cross, cos they don’t pretend to be normal and poor!

💯 this - she was using a very dangerous oven rather than replace. The gifted dunelm chair price tag is the cost of a cheap but safe oven. She is a fraudster.
