Comedians you don’t find funny…

OT but just wanted to say thanks to those on this thread who have brought Chris Lilley into my life. I've spent most of the weekend singing "She's a party girl with a...bad habit", asking my husband "AM I HOT!?!?" and calling my ginger son a "ranga".

I’m disabled and I dislike her using the word. She’s not funny whatsoever, not at all in any way. She’s just in it for the shock value. Well, we disabled are sick of being spoken for. You don’t speak for me Rosie Jones, you’re just using disability as a platform for fame. You actually need a talent and a decent personality too.

I’m clearly in the minority because I like Rosie Jones, and don’t have any difficulty understanding her speech. That said, it does seem like she roles out the same 8 minutes of material on every single tv show, even though if you see her doing live comedy, she clearly has a lot of better material. It hasn’t helped that channel 4 seem to treat her like she’s the only disabled gay comedian ever, and shoehorn her into anything that’s vaguely related to disability or sexuality.

Sally Ann Hayward is my latest least funny comedian. She’s occasionally funny as an mc but her own setsjust feel like someone’s handed the mic to someone’s recently divorced and still bitter about it aunty

Jamali Maddix is another one on the bin-em list for me. I feel awful for saying it, but his voice just makes me cringe too hard to get over, but even beyond that, his delivery is awful.

I think that with a lot of comics when you see them live they’re much better than what you see of them on telly.

You're right, and I might go ahead and open a thread for him, because he is such an inexhaustible well of absolute CRINGE. Just imagine having to marry that bleep and listen to him doing the intellectual equivalent of wanking off into the mirror every evening.

He looks really angry when David Mitchell's team beats him in wilty. I used to like him, he is very quick witted, but I think he seems very jealous.

Gonna say it again - James Acaster. Has one schtick and it’s shouting like a little kid. He’s not funny. I listen to off menu and the guests are almost always funnier than him. Even non comedians. Ed Gamble I like, he’s funny but more importantly a warm and welcoming person. James needs to find a new career as there’s nothing funny about him, he can take his pal Nish Kumar with him.

I found James and Nish absolutely unwatchable on Task Master. James was just bloody rude and surly and Nish seemed to do some weird OTT laugh at literally everything.
