We saw Dan Ferreiras last episode yesterday which was aired on 30th December 2003. The actor was abruptly removed from the set due to visa problems

It’s the start of their re-written storyline with this family with Kareena confirming a few episodes ago to Zoe that her & Tariq never slept together and Tariq revealing in today’s episode he was Dan’s son

honestly rewatching this has given me a new appreciation for how shaun w played barry tbh, i know he’s remembered as a comedy character but he really gave him layers. he was awful and pathetic in equal measure but i felt sorry for him in the end!
