I think this may have been about the time where certain high street hairdressers became obsessed with feathering. Luckily, I couldn’t afford the trendy hairdresser that a lot of my mates went to so I was not feathered, but there was a time when they all came out of the place with feathered hair that had been dip dyed in colours they’d call caramel or biscoffi. I assume the same thing was happening in Wetherfield

That Karl is horrible. Constantly snarling at Todd to tell Sarah about them, being threatening/abusive. Why would Todd even want to pursue it when Karl is such a bully

He's so predatory. Constantly pressuring a younger man who's struggling with his sexuality. I don't know what the writers were thinking with this Character, he's so badly written, no depth to his personality and there are no nice loving moments between him and Todd, it's all arguments and him trying to pressure Todd.

The scene between Eileen and Todd was absolutely perfect. Eileen played the part so naturally. Why are none of the actors given real and raw scenes like this anymore? Everything is now so over the top and beyond theatrical. It's almost like an American soap. Scenes like this, as well as genuine Jack and Vera type comedy are what's completely lacking in today's Coronation Street. I wish I had the bloody skills to apply for that script writers job!

I haven't watched the current ones in years now but I've noticed that characters over a certain age seem to get a personality transplant and become dopey and no longer get any decent storylines. Gail Platt being a perfect example of that.

I’ve just looked up Richard Fleeshman and tbh I’d like to thank him for keeping up with me and changing his look to my tastes. He was my type when I was 10, and well he is still my type at 30.
