And then what Ken wrote about Rosie’s performance! Took me right back to playing Nancy in Oliver! at 15 and some puce twit from our local backwater rag writing ‘Jarvis’s Nancy just about held her own against Syke’s bravado’ the kid playing Bill Sykes was his nephew! Absolutely ludicrous that you’d be able to write up an adult standard review in a paper about young teenagers but people did

I actually thought she acted really well. The flickers on her face when Chesney talked about the box abuse that then hardened back to her usual demeanor - like she couldn't allow herself to go there.

Craig went like that. Really good young actors but then just lost the ability!The one who could act.I think he was a very good child actor but now seems to talk down his nose and has only 1 facial expression.

Talking of which, I thought Jason coming on to Gail was rather clumsy and random, and couldn't understand why it happened. After having seen yesterday's episode, I realised that it was a plot device for Sarah not to attend the do at Canal Street. She ended up looking after Candice, who Jason had upset. It was clumsily written.Todd & Karl's scenes together are so badly acted
I think this may be the moment when Coronation Street's began it's decline into what we have been left with today. A programme which is a shadow of it's former self.
