Stephen Reid is now being turned into the next serial killer villain. Trying to con Audrey. SERIOUSLY!!!

He was nothing like that in the 90's, nor would he ever of likely been. Even giving young Nick a job in Canada.

The show just seems to be randomly flipping the personality of characters.

I did see Spider the other day but thought it was Neil Morrissey!

There’s literally nobody they won’t take back by the sounds of it, even if it means completely changing the character. Yes we all change over the years but not going from decent “didn’t want to hurt Alma’s feelings” to “Richard Hillman? Hold my coat”
 
I can’t remember the posters name to tag but I think they’ll know the answer to this as their knowledge on Corrie is brill.
Where is this campsite Martin and co are at?
I need to go find the Derbyshire Beast 😂

I've given up on present day, but did see the return of Spider, bleddy shocked to see he's a detective sergeant!!!

Richard was only being nice cos he's after the money Alma left to Audrey, talking of whom, when Blanche turned up to hers with a b'day card, then was asking about her spare room, subtle as a sledgehammer!!!
 
I’m so far behind - Alma 🥺. I know he’s an asshole but Mike was so good in the episodes leading up to it. But the last thing anyone needs on their deathbed is seeing Ken Barlow in jeans 😔

It’s so weird, I remember the floral wallpaper but I don’t remember Mike being with her at all.

Linda was a Greg Kelly level baddy, her face when Alma died

No way has Moody Martin Platt wore his leather jacket to Alma’s funeral!

First time round (I was about 16 when these eps were screening) I remember really liking Martin as a character. Thought he was pretty solid (aside from the affair, but like, as a dad and a bloke). But rewatching, he is just the WORST. And why does everything he say come put like he's annoyed at the world? And he's a total bully to poor Roy taking the piss out of everything he says. Eugh.

They took their "foster child" Wayne on a camping holiday without telling his Mother and Step Father. The Step Father has been exhorting money from Roy and Hayley. The Step Father found out where the campsite was, and arrived there with the intention of taking Wayne back home, but he was prevented. He phoned social services and informed on Roy and Hayley's behaviour. Roy, Hayley and Wayne have now gone on the run.
