I hated Maxine's dress, looked really aging on her, Not-Nicola looked better in the bridesmaid dress!

What I saw recently on ITV does not even compare to episodes of the ITV3 classic era.

People could clearly be seen in the background, looking at and pointing at Maxine and Ashley in the airport scenes.

It looked so dry and lacquered.
The makeup, hair and dress were such weird choices - I can’t imagine that character would ever choose that combo - even in 1990. She would have chosen more skin!
Yes, I thought it looked old fashioned and when she wanted obey in her vows, very unlike Maxine!

The same Maxine who wanted to have obey in her vows who only a few weeks ago was dictating to Ashley who he could and couldn’t have as his best man

Maxine in her own clothes was always quite stylish. The wedding dress was a bit lank. It was just straight up and down with no shape to it
Those silver clunky open toe big heeled shoes she was wearing were the sort you’d wear if you were going out clubbing, not for a wedding. They were vile
