My understanding was that it was very dubious. Someone found it, and Chupi posted it on her social media. Then there was lots of questions like wouldn’t you know who bought one of your very special rings that’s individually stamped? And she pointed to GDPR… etc etc. Then the couple wanted to stay private as it wasn’t a happy ending (wait what, but Chupi only has fairytales)… and then something emerged about the ring actually being found MONTHS before the posts. Weird AF.
 
So glad to find this thread! I remember she was advertising for completely unpaid internships in her company a few years ago - job spec included compulsory marketing degree! I think it's really disgusting so called her out and got blocked. Her jewellery is shite too.
 
How can she be kind while blocking someone who legitimately asks why she is looking for free labour? Why do kpmg support these frauds? I walked by her store in powerscourt yesterday and the upstairs is completely empty. One chair in it and she’s day day out saying how she’s building her empire.
Also her mother is nothing but a woke pretend feminist who has lived off a trust fund her whole life

What is KPMG doing with her? I havent been watching her page lately.

Having worked for one of the Big4 and having friends that worked in the others they ALL take advantage of their employees so Chupi and KPMG are well suited.
 
This is from last year but it looks like she's involved with KPMG in an over-exaggerated #GurlBoss role.

She's talks about the design of this trophy like it's the second coming of Christ. It's going to solve EVERY world problem imaginable. Chupi comes across as a really deluded person in general. Must be a nightmare having to work with her in any capacity, head wrecker.

Seems very strange to me that a company that laid off so many of its staff - days after Christmas, with no pay - are spending money doing up a store they just bought, and winning retail excellence awards. Within the same calendar year. Must be a real slap in the face to the women she treated so badly.

Didn't she get rid of maternity benefits for staff too? I predict that shop will be closed within a year - it must be hemmoraging money and investors will want to see a return!

And herself and her mother go on about men being the enemy. Time to look at yourself……if that was a male CEO getting rid of mat benefit her mother would be roasting them from a height. Pair of hypocrites the pair of them.

Things not looking too good!

The company behind the Chupi luxury jewellery brand, lost more than €1.9 million in 2023 as the business shed jobs and grappled with a decline in sales.

In a note attached to the 2023 filings, the directors said the accounts had been prepared on the basis that the company is a “going concern”. They said: “The directors have reviewed the financial position of the company, looking at current levels of funding and income, and expected results for the foreseeable future covering the period to, at least November 30th, 2024. And if it decreases, they may have to look at reduced levels of activities, in the short term, going forward.”
