Had a good day at work. A few goodbye calls and handover calls so tomorrow should be really easy for a last day. Feeling so tired now after last nights rubbish sleep but bf has us over for dinner now (kfc yum) so at least I haven’t had to cook.
Once we get home I want to have a lavender bath and chill and hopefully an early restful night

I’m catching up with celeb master chef, it just makes me want to eat everything.

The Mr is cooking tonight. Then he wants a game of chess with the 8yr old. So a lavender bath and a few episodes of cruel summer in bed is my plans for the night

I feel kind of blah; I’m still working so I will literally finish work at some point tonight, go to bed, to get get up and start working straight away again tomorrow. I’m so glad it’s a bank holiday, I need some joy in my life

Haha just had a big Mac and fries and mcflurry. I wasn't supposed to have it either, the kids wanted it so just got same. I've never played the monopoly thing, was just about to throw the rubbish out, but went to look when I saw your comment what's it mean? I don't understand . See pic below

So basically you've won a hot drink!!! So you can claim that whenever you go back. You can win food look big macs, small fries, a donut, a mcmuffin etc. Then you collect all the monopoly pieces and if you get a row I think you win a good prize. If you win the 2 blues I'm sure you get loads of money! My brother won a Samsung phone one year I've only won big macs and mcmuffins

Me and my fella rip them off soon as we get our food. My fella even keeps an eye out if there's a unpeeled monopoly sticker on a mcdonalds chips that's been thrown on the floor

I refuse to play McDonalds Monopoly out of spite - years ago I got a Park Lane two years in a row and it was too stressful to buy any after that

@BelleAmie - Thanks but I am the wrong person to ask for socialising skills - this is my first time doing anything since pre-pandemic!

I'd recommend meetup.com though and see if there is a group near you where either a) you like the hobby so would find it easy to talk about with people, b) you don't need to do much talking, like cinema clubs, or c) where you have something specific to talk about like a book club or a board game club.
