Cheryl Tweedy Cole Fernandez Versini #2

“Prince was known for many accomplishments, including his musical genius, philanthropy, and financial acumen. Despite this, he did not have a will or any estate planning documents at the time of his death - leaving his $156M estate in limbo.”
Prince didn't have any children and wasn't ever involved with Cheryl Tweedy.

With Liam in and out of rehab Cheryl would have made sure she was OK.

My reference to Prince was only to highlight what can happen when no will is left. Hopefully this isn’t the case with Liam, Cheryl & Bear
With no will it then goes to probate and lawyers identify next of kin.

It won't
It doesn't work like tht
This is true, it goes to probate when theres no will. Its so that they can identify anyone else from a legal perspective. Also gets lawyers a quids in.
It doesnt automatically go to the heir.

His son is under 18, and he wasnt married. Its most likely his parent or sibling will become executor or administrator of his estate until his son becomes of age.

Thankyou!
Don't know why people think it just automatically goes to the kid if the parent dies and no will is in place
Dangerous misinformation to spread cos if ppl believe it an decide to not invest in a will it can cause some right tit

As a Wills and Probate Solicitor IF Liam didn't leave a Will his estate is held on trust for Bear until he turns 18 under the intestate rules presuming Liam is named on his Birth Certificate. Cheryl would be the person entitled to act as administrator for the estate as Bear's legal guardian but she would need someone else to act as a trustee for the funds.

We won't find out for probably a year until a Grant has been issued. It's only a Grant of Probate if there is a Will and the Executors are acting, it's letters of administration if no Will was left.

Thankyou!

It absolutely does. Read the latest comment. If not married and no will it goes to the child once they turn 18 and is held in trust until then.

Now what is interesting is that a civil partner can inherit 300 grand or thereabouts. I wonder is Katie considered a civil partner?

Unless they were in a civil partnership then no.

I can just imagine how she was before she was famous when she was growing up in Newcastle a little scrapper mouthy and all that
She was awful 😂. Giving “favours” for a spliff as a teen. Gob on her like you can imagine.
Her mother has always annoyed me (who lets their 6 year old try and walk home from the west end of Newcastle at 10pm at night… saint Joan as it turns out!)

re the birth certificate, it’s an offence of done with knowledge you are basically lying on a legal document (think it falls under perjury act but can’t be arsed to Google it).

In ireland you can request death certs of anyone, Possibly birth certs...could be the samr in england if anyone cared enough.
Birth Marriage and Death Certificates are public documents and can be obtained in the UK for a small fee. As can title registers for registered properties (most properties are registered these days) and Wills once an estate goes to Probate...
