I vaguely remember in her book her trying to justify her mum living with them by basically saying the house was so big that they hardly saw her or something to that effect. Regardless it’s still weird as hell sharing a living space with your mother as a married grown woman. If she really wanted her mum close why not buy her a place near by?

I remember Ashley saying in a interview he would get in from traning or a match and Cheryl and her mum would be watching Corrie an having a cuppa in living room and he would go into the games room sounds like a right nightmare

Cheapest I seen them was 35, and I was fuming cos I paid just under 100! I don't honestly think they were £5, maybe £5 with a £29.95 "booking fee"

I’m incredibly close with my daughter, we call and text daily, but jesus I couldn’t be around her 24/7! I was actually relieved when she decided to move out a few years ago. If anything, we are even closer now. We always have such a great time when we see each other, and appreciate each other more. She’s coming for a girls night in on Friday and I can’t wait! I’ve already booked husband a lads night out

Agree, I’m super close to my mum but we don’t live together and she wouldn’t want me moving in with her. Equally we know we’re always welcome in one another’s homes. If I’d had Cheryl’s money and was married to a footballer I’d have bought my parents a house nearby or bought a house with an annexe/self contained accommodation. They had the and l wouldn’t want my hubby to feel like a guest in his own home as Ashley may have done.

The only thing I've ever heard of similar was my mum's friends daughter moved in with her for a few months whilst awaiting completion of a new build. That was out of necessity not choice and always was only on a temporary basis.
