Would 5am be early enough? How long is the seaplane journey?

Seaplane will take minimum of 40/45 minutes if it goes direct, an hour or more if any pick ups en route. Think Kandima is an hour ahead of Male (where international airport is). They try and get you to the airport a good 3 hours before departure time. Once your luggage is brought across from the seaplane terminal (can take a while) You have to queue to get into the terminal as all luggage is scanned befire entry. Then check in queues. Then queues for passport and the Imuga departure checks, then more seurity checks and scans. Then they can join the huge queues at Burger King. Best case they'll need to be ready at the jetty with their luggage by 6.45am with the aim to land in Male by 7/7. 30am ish local time. Baggage will be collected from their room at least half an hour before the seaplane leaves. It's gonna be delightful
