Marisha and Zeze had not a single chance against Fern and Nikita. Nobody knows them, whereas Fern has decades of TV work behind her and Nikita is stunning and much loved on Strictly. There was not a chance in hell that they were getting evicted tonight with their established public support.
Fern's angry drunk auntie moment was too late in the show to make a difference to voting, her portrayal has been relatively good until then. She seems to think that Nikita is a teenage boy rather than a 26 year old well-respected in his field, and that he thinks all old people are icky and stupid, so she's entitled to talk down to him.
Nikita initially handled Fern well, but he did show himself up as being fake nice to her. He also sounded fake nice in the diary room when he said he's been good and kind to everybody, which just makes it sound like it's a conscious effort.
He was absolutely not having any of it when Fern wanted to have a heart to heart with him in the garden after their one-sided beef. He kept talking over her and not listening.
I am glad Nikita is staying and hope the Fern vs Nikita thing develops further. And that Nikita's insincerity is exposed. Hoping for redemption for Fern, but I'm also here for more cringeworthy and insane beefing.
My new theory is that Bradley is a genuinely nice and sensitive boy who is young for his age, albeit a terrible housemate. Colson is also genuinely sweet and inoffensive. I think Nikita has made a conscious decision to weld himself to them and to emulate them, in order to appear similarly sweet. Nikita is not being himself at all when he messes around like a child.
After watching Marisha on L&L, I am really disappointed she's gone, she has bags of personality and warmth, without being weird. She would do well in a traditional Big Brother. I appreciate her total honesty about playing the game.
Her explanation about her reason for voting for Ekin-Su was exactly as I'd perceived it - an intended compliment to soften the blow. But it was interesting that she was swayed by Fern's much-deserved character assassination of Ekin-Su.

No it wasn't. Cheryl was found not guilty. There were many accounts of the toilet attendant being rude on other occasions, and she was motivated to claim racism to make the assault look totally unprovoked by herself. (Just to be clear, no one deserves to be punched for being rude, or perceived as such).
Cheryl didn't "get away with it", she was convicted of ABH, and punished. She has done her punishment and that should be the end of it. If she wasn't famous, the police would never have even bothered, drunk people aggressing happens every weekend.
Cheryl had a rough upbringing and she was 19 and drunk. She shouldn't be forever judged for it.
