I've been wondering about Ekin appearing to mimic accents and in the back of my mind I recalled there is a psychological condition that causes it, so I looked it up and there' something called the Chameleon Effect, which is a subconscious response to responding to social situations, and includes mimicking accents without realising it. Apparently its purpose is to give the person a sense of safety and security in a social environment.

Loved their Strictly partnership and love Nikita but Leyton really not coming across well.

ES is a silly spoilt girl but she’s really no worse than a lot of them. Just a bad player. I like Fern but actually found her quite spiteful about ES.

It IS just bullying now with ITV complicit with their obvious edit. Just my opinion!
 
Just catching up on L&L. Love how AJ said you said those things so you can't blame the edit. Love the silence on when they asked if anyone was on Ekin Su's side, may as well as have tumbleweed rolling across the floor and love how her mum was trying to add her on to Sharon's list and then had to be told it was live and she didn't 😂 P.S I agree Levi is a nasty un.

I was surprised by that from Layton, himself the victim of nasty homophobic and racist comments online during his time on Strictly, not asking him to sympathise or support ES but he could have just taken a moment before responding to the online message.

Totally agree with all of this.

I think the only COCK in this situation is Layton. What a dick!

Yes I think Ekin is silly and spoilt, and I will add "vain" to the mix. Her mum was certainly misguided in her attempts to intervene.

The interviewing of Ekin was all one sided, where was the balance? It seemed like a deliberate lynching. And duck OFF layton & AJ about the edit. Defensive or what. No Ekin hasn't watched it yet, that's true but please give credit for knowing exactly how reality TV works, let's be real. Everyone knows that shows like that are edited to within an inch of their lives, deliberately to create a narrative chosen by the producers and to remove any context or other contributions from other contestants that might have changed the public perception. Yes Ekin said and did those things, but where's the rest to provide context? God people can be thick sometimes.

Also agree about Fern.

Not surprised Ekin was booted though, we could see it coming a mile off!

(And no, I'm not a fan, I just watch a show with an open mind and without any bias, and II try not to be influenced by a particular narrative especially if it is part of a pile on)

I can't stand the "Be kind" brigade either, I would prefer them to say "duck off" instead!
 
While I slightly disagree with the witch hunt on socials, I do agree that she was held accountable for her OWN actions on L&L. Leyton said what everyone else was thinking. AJ wasn’t nasty just truthful in her responses. She could of flipped the outcome on L&L by saying ‘you know what, I hold my hands up, I did overreact etc’

Everything she did on L&L last night told me everything I needed to know! She’s a dangerous individual. She needs therapy not another tv show

Okay Ekin hasn’t watched it yet but that’s the whole point. How can she possibly blame the edit when she’s seen none of it?

AJ can’t win. If she sat there and smiled and didn’t ask the questions she would have been tore apart. People were asking her to be like Emma Willis and she was last night. I thought she was great. But now she’s asked ES some difficult questions it’s suddenly went too far? ES was an absolute tit in the house. She’s thick as mince. And as soon as the audience demographic changed from teenagers to adults we could all see right through her fake persona.

Just to clarify I'm not talking about the initial interview with AJ, Will and Ekin, that was fine. I'm talking about the segment with Layton at the end and how AJ got all defensive about the edit. She was correct that Ekin hadn't seen it, but I thought everyone knew that shows like this are heavily edited to give a particular narrative. I'm not so sure that the so-called "Adults' watching have not been following the herd, and AJ's coment that Ekin hasn't seen it was to shut her down, and it seems a large number of viewers have fallen for it.

But she hadnt seen the edit? And was blaming it? She clearly loved the edit she got on Love Island.
 
I'm just catching up with all this now. Levi really gives me the creeps and I'm glad he's out. I think he's the worst of them all, masquerading as a zen yoga Rasta master when he's a spiteful little chap. The fact his daughters don't speak to him says volumes.

Ekin-Su is a very silly woman. I do think she's beautiful, but I think she's at her best without make up. She's still quite young I think - late 20s? - so I suspect she'll look back on this in embarrassment, like we all do. She behaved badly but I hope she's ok as this has turned very nasty.

And telling a woman she needs a cock is just pathetic. I don't know who this Layton is and I haven't watched Love Island so I figure he was on that?

Where can I see this footage of the jellybean roulette where the others refuse to answer their sour questions?
