Cbbc/CITV back in the day (90s/2000s)

Anyone else remember Bernards watch? I used to love that! My girl is 7 and she refuses to believe that we had to wait for kids TV to start especially at the weekends 🤣🤣

Or that there was only 4 channels!

Life was much simpler, I couldn't be a teen now with all the social media and tit
I still imagine quite regularly life with a Bernard’s watch 😂

does anyone remember the shoe people? I just had to google it because I wasn't sure i hadn't imagined it

Loved the shoe people; welly boot guy was the best!

I've just been down a Google search for a programme I used to watch and loved. Turns out it was called Pugwall! Australian, a group of kids who had a band and were trying to get a record deal.

I absolutely hated Round the Twist and also Rentaghost. Chucklevision used to annoy me too.

Other programmes I remember enjoying were Press Gang, Children's Ward, Grange Hill, Byker Grove, Heartbreak High and Sabrina. I was born in 78 so I'd have been watching early 90s probably.

oh god children's ward was often very traumatic, I remember vividly one epsiode where some children were pretending to be ill to stay in hospital as their parents had abandoned them, also loved heartbreak high, really fancied one of the guys in it :ROFLMAO:

Does anyone remember a CBBC series called Feather Boy? Thomas Brodie-Sangster (boy from Love Actually) was the main character. I loved it!
Is that the one where he gave the Sheila Hancock a jacket made of feathers and it was insinuated she was a bird and died?
That sounds too random now I’ve typed that.

Omg 90s kids TV was the ONE. I recently rewatched a load on Britbox and YouTube (I blame Josh Widdecombe’s book).
I lived for SMTV every Saturday! Brian’s Brain

It was quite brutal for its day 😂 I'm remembering someone being burned and then a girl who'd had a baby but hadn't told anyone...think that was Children's Ward?

I've just had a look at the cast for Heartbreak High and noone is particularly standing out as fanciable 🤣

I had the biggest crush on Drazic. I looked up Scott Major today who played Rivers earlier. Not a fan of the massive beard he’s grown

Raggydolls
Fun house
Finders keepers
Rosie and Jim
Knightmare (fave ever!)
Round the twist
Grange Hill
Childrens ward
How2 (that's how for now!)
Fraggle rock
Trapdoor
Art attack

Gosh, what wonderful days they were! I just remember endless sunny days spent on my bike in the summer, and coming home from school to sit and watch some of these!

My go to shows growing up:

Byker Grove
The new adventures of black beauty
Chronicles of Narnia -BBC
Animal Ark
home farm twins
A little princess -LWT
Chronicles of Narbia was fantastic!

Sorry not really scrolled back so probably already been mentioned but I remember enjoying The Lodge and Chris Cross (mainly due to Martino and Simon Fenton... yaaas)

Tomorrow people
Count Duckula
Spatz
The Raccoons

In adulthood our small office spent a whole day trying to remember the theme tune to the raccoons (pre the days where you can Google anything).

Run with us...😉🦝
