Cbbc/CITV back in the day (90s/2000s)

- Fingertips. Always vividly remember the edible apple licorice belt that was far to intricate for any parent to allow their kid to make 😂

Also, I spent ages trying to remember the show where kids decorate and redesign their family home without the parents' supervision. It was called Home On Their Own and the only episode that's stuck in my head all this time is thankfully the one episode that's survived on the internet 😂

OMG THANK YOU FOR THIS!!!!!!!!
I had a vague recollection of this show and could not for the life of me remember what it was called. Just a odd memory or two of things that happened. There was one with a slide and another where the kids must’ve had strict parents so they created a secret room. Mad stuff was early 00s tv

The one I linked is the secret room one! That's the reason I remember that episode - must have been a formative memory since I would have been tiny 😂
Most people remember it for another episode where the kids turned their kitchen into a McDonald's-style burger bar and the mum was fizzing that they'd painted over her Farrow And Ball paint (with a cheap obnoxious yellow)! 😂😂

Don’t remember the burger bar wasn’t there another one where they turned the living room into something Victorian themed and crammed it full of all the kind of bits a middle class house would’ve had much to the horror of the clutter hating mother.

64 zoo lane, another theme tune that gets stuck in your head.

Also does anyone remember the educational childrens programmes they’d show on bbc during the day? I would be poorly and off school and subjected to watching them because the cartoons wouldn’t start until school had finished

00s - something I endured with my children.
Numberjacks. Spooky spoon and the numbertaker traumatised my child.
Lyrics. Shes mean, she's bossy, she's really cruel, she thinks she's great she's thinks she's cool.
Shes only plastic but she thinks she's fantastic.
Kudos to cbeebies.
When you search her on Google the first question is "is spooky spoon real?" Lol

two boys, who lived on an underwater science base thing, I think their dad was a scientist or something, and a girl from the past/another dimension/a mermaid? who would swim through to an underground temple thing and I think the boys tried to hide her??
