People who have a kid and make the kid their whole personality are so weird. They’ll be complaining in a few years “no one ever wants to hang out with me because I’m a parent” nah it’s cause you make the kid your personality. I can hang out with people with kids but if all they talk about is the kid and kid stuff, Im probably going to mentally switch off and be like “uh huh, oh right, no way, haha, that’s crazy”.

Carrie is going that way. Carrie you had a kid, you’re not a medical marvel. Lots of people have kids. Stop trying to make being a MUMMA your brand

Or the classic : I sacrificed so much for my kids and put my entire life on hold for them. Completely forgetting you’re a person and not just a parent is such a stupid choice, you can be a great parent without doing that and without boring the tit out of everyone around you. 🥱🥱
 
Bad news if you fancy seeing Hamilton but I guess at least it keeps him out of some other shows? Although it does give the impression (I said impression, JoJo; calm down) that he can't get any other work, like Carrie and Les Mis. He did seem really enthused about Just For One Day and convinced it would be big - but evidently it's not going to be ...

Meh, it’s something that’s been going on for a while isn’t it, but ramped up for obvious reasons during covid. London is crazy expensive to live in right now and unless you’re playing a principal role in a huge production, performers don’t get paid as much as people might think (generally speaking). I’m all for a side hustle for that reason - but only where it feels like a natural fit, if you get what I mean? Carrie running a dance masterclass of all things and charging the earth for it (read: exploiting people) seems batshit insane.. but if she was doing a session on character acting in panto? Fair enough. I even wouldn’t care too much if she was doing a Les Mis specific acting through song workshop since it’s the only show she’s made any real mark on.

They’re defo gonna rebrand Beggars Call into a kids academy though.. no young adult would choose them over the likes of say Lucie Jones or anyone else for that matter. MabeI’s arrival coincides beautifully with this change of strategy too - look at all this parent content they’re sharing! Relatable! Look at us! Best parents ever! Your kids are in good hands with us!

It is embarrassing how little she understands TikTok. “A vlog from when I ran the 2022 Vitaliry 10K”… 1 TikTok is not for vlogs and 2 who cares about something boring that happened 2 years ago?

You would think if you were going to make this part of your job and social media presence that you would at least do a bit of research into what works best on that platform!

When I see 'vlog' content on tiktok now, it's usually slideshows set to a piece of music that's popular at the time. The OP posts the pictures and adds comments of them over the top. She could've done that, but NO, too much work for our little Carrie!
 
In that TikTok "vlog" (🙄) she included a clip she apparently sent to Joel at the time because it was the day before their first date and he told her to hurry up (running the 10k) - she gave him the finger and said "Screw you Joel! I'm sloooow". What a charming start to their relationship. Right on brand for them.
