I don't want to get into any kind of monarchy debate, but who is trying to steal whose thunder here?! Like someone said earlier, it's a joke that's well past its sell by date. Stand Down Joel.

Also it's not really that big a deal. There really is barely any connection between the coronation of a new head of state, and the umpteenth replacement in a role that's been going for years. Kings pop up in multiple films and shows. His wife was even in a (crap) show with one in over the summer

I wonder whether the threat of long-term unemployment post-baby has put a rocket up her and forced her to reckon with her lack of professionalism in the past.

She showed up ONLY because Scott was there and she didn't have to be stuck at home with her other #HUSBAND aka No Neck Shrek...I wouldn’t say that she performed well as we saw from various clips or people mentioning that it was THE WORST panto they ever seen 🤣🤡🤣

Well, we did think last year too that she wouldn’t be able to push through panto, after the disaster of Cinderella, where at one point she barely performed.
While I do think that panto can be exhausting due to the many shows, I don’t think Carrie is being pushed to the limit with the workload. I don’t think anyone in the production would have dared to demand anything from the world’s first pregnant woman.

Thats true actually.

I initially was thinking 'blimey, she did do the whole run'. But would she have done it if Scott wasn't there ?!🤔
