I had a tit childhood (that involved physical and emotional abuse) so what I do in my adult life is the odd thing to help my inner child. This involves things like playing on my favourite childhood games or even buying my childhood toys from e.bay. I know not everyone deals with childhood trauma in this way but it personally helps me.
I understand you never know how bad someone has really had it but I really doubt precious Carrie H Fletcher has had such a childhood where she missed out on being a child (especially with her annual Disney World trips). She just does this for the clout.

I wholeheartedly agree. I managed to win the twin of my favourite childhood teddy who I lost a few weeks ago on eBay. I cried when that package arrived.

I'm also bidding for a Beanie Baby that I lost on a residential school trip right now!
 
Take her reel with a massive dump of salt. We all know her life isn't as "sparkly" as she makes it out to be (and no Carrie, I'm not jealous 🖕)
For once in her life I'd love for her to genuinely reflect on her past mistakes and how she's grown (or not) from them. But of course she has never done anything wrong and those who criticise her all mean, hateful trolls

I don't think so, the Broadway actress was definitely a stronger performer and that lasted only a few months
In my opinion, it was a combination of opening too soon after the pandemic, the material just not being very good and Carrie not being a big enough name that lead to it's failure

The lyrics were so 2008/out-of-touch/not-like-other-girls that it was always going to get slated. If they had a lead who could dance instead of just getting pulled around by the actual dancers then it might have had a bit of redemption. The lead in the Broadway version looked much better than Carrie, but it still bombed.
 
OT of course, but as I'm on the road tonight I wish us all a wonderful 2024! Thank you for another unforgettable year with Carrie and Shrek (and their annex a.k.a. Scott), for veritable nightmares (one image is enough––Carrie on the sofa... in tights... with "bump"...) and more laughs than I can count. I'm very grateful for you lot, honestly. Looking forward to watching the never stopping train wreck with you and being impressed by your creativity, humour and wit. #soproud

I have never known someone to be on their phone so much in the company of others

Edit to say: sometimes I am aware that I use my phone like a security blanket when I am anxious, or I doom-scroll to distract myself. Maybe Carrie does the same thing. Anything to distract herself from the reality that she is carrying No Neck's spawn...
Or she's panic-buying baby stuff on Amazon 😉

Oh and now another bootleg. This time of her tour on her story.
She has a responsibility to send a message to her ‘legion’ of fans that filming is a no no but her huge ego just can’t resist posting footage of herself.
Hannah Lowther, Carrie is a hollow ally. She pretends to sympathise with you with a performative tweet in support but posts bootleg after bootleg. This, when even shows like Six have had enough of filming and send a message out to fans.
Carrie is a grade A Hypocrite and she can’t even see it.
