Right on cue (oh so subtle)

ugh, that is so slimy. If my husband started calling me “Mrs [His Last Name]!” in public I’d be a little bit like “you can use my first name! I am more than just your wife!”

I got married young, only my third year of uni, my dissertation and degree all have my maiden name on them. It would be really weird if my husband “celebrated” me by posting a photo of my dissertation, with my full maiden name on it, and in MASSIVE writing just called me “Mrs *His Last Name*”.
Like, just call her Carrie. He has a real problem with referring to her in any way that is separate from him. It’s so obvious that he’s trying to link any tiny bit of success she makes to him. Don’t forget me everyone!! She’s mine!! 🤢

Isn’t it a but weird that Joel is living in the house she shared with Oliver?
Wouldn’t you want a fresh start?

It's not weird at all. This is a very weird take. Millions of people break up every year, and they don't move house just to get a "fresh start" - if a new partner has a house, you'd move in with them, generally. Both renting and real estate are at a crisis point (expense, quality, enough housing) most places in the world, London especially. Also, it'd be incredibly wasteful if break ups and getting together with someone always meant moving somewhere else for both parties in the original break up

Find it quite funny average talent Carrie is joining average talent Criss. He's a good actor in right part (Versaci) but his voice and stage work is average at best. He was pretty weak recently in Chess and was serviceable in How To Succeed.

I agree in part, but the original posters point wasn't a 'weird take'. Many many couples do move somewhere new for a fresh start, or so they start on an even footing. It's just down to the couples preference or situation.
