Carrie's still pregnant
The Crown Jewels is still running

She went on a rant after being accused of being passive aggressive in her Q&A answers and says she has well-established boundaries but we all know that's not true

Joel has been oddly quiet

It's just been announced that Carrie will be a guest at Darren Criss' concert on 15th October 🙄

Huh?? Who came up with that? I feel like the Venn Diagram of people who are into Darren Criss (or mostly Starkid, seeing as Joey and Lauren are there too) and who still give a (positive) duck about Carrie is.. very small? But maybe I'm wrong. I guess if you're into MT, you might know both very well. Still. Really odd combo to me.

Nice to see the anti-tory posts on her stories today after that conference, good she’s standing up for something! Less good that she’s so hypocritical eg. Still making money from the Harry Potter franchise (tho that seems to have quietened? Unless, ofc, the concert has to pay royalties to JK Rowling and then it’s just impeccable timing)

Again, Carrie manages to have network/connections that somehow think she's good (or love sucking up to her) and give her work consistently....wonder if this will still be the case when she's back from having had her baby

She's like a cat with 9 lives who keeps squandering her chances by not honing her skills.
I also think she's got a bloody good agent, who is doing his/her best despite Carrie's unprofessionalism. Sure, she's getting lower calibre roles, but she still is getting work and that's down to a talented agent who knows how to hustle and spin previous reviews/behaviour. It's a skill.

Man I for one cannot wait for a labour government, and all these lefty theatre kids (including Carrie) that think they are being all "grown up" and "political" today, and reposting each other to bits in response to the Tory conference, finally learn that a Labour government will turn out to be just as much of an utter tit show as the Tory government they've grown up with and think they hate so much.

I'm old enough to have seen government change from one to the other several times, enough to know that it doesn't really matter who's in charge, the only difference is that Labour tend to duck it all up inside 1-2 terms, the Cons tend to take 3-4 terms, just as they have now.

It's so funny to see the "know it all" youngsters on political rampages and I just think how little they truly know. I well remember the party atmosphere the day Tony Blair walked in to Downing Street. It didn't last long.

edit: yep that twatter interaction today was beyond cringe. I just can't be arsed to sacrifice another account that I know she'll just block straight away if I were to call her out on it.

The Twitter exchange was so obviously staged. She thinks people are so stupid that they’ll believe within an hour of tweeting she’s announced officially for a show next weekend. Then “just casually been asked by Darren Criss…” like there were no agents, contracts, etc involved. Yet, she sets herself up as a mentor. Zinging on my last nerve.
Next we’ll hear how though she’s known the words for years she didn’t have a proper rehearsal and her anxiety is through the roof. Whilst pregnant! And touring! And the same week as her third honeymoon!

She didn’t write anything against tories? Or anything political? Was there a story she deleted?

Not to make this into a political discussion, but although Labour in the UK are no longer an actual Labour party (just like the Labour party in my country) and they've done many harmful things, they are not half as incompetent, hateful and harmful as the Torys, and calling them out for literally being transphobic is necessary and the bare minimum.

But yes, Carrie's Twitter interaction was cringe. Let's get back to that.

Not sure you'll find many here who agree with you there Kev old mate. Would venture a guess that most of us have spent most of our adult lives now with Tories in government and have seen nothing but fuckup after fuckup, and the country in decline. The last Labour government were Tory-lite anyway. We've not had a true Labour government in decades. This next lot won't be it either.

If Carrie wants to Tory-bash I'll back her wholeheartedly, especially the way they are currently attacking LGBTQ+ communities and refugees. Hopefully she'll think twice next time someone like Lord Lloyd-Webber comes calling with a role for her.

Right on cue (oh so subtle)

Joel is pissing on his WIFE and marking his territory once again... I wonder whether that Darren has seen Carrie recently, as the juvenile picture that she just posted is hardly a representation of her current self. A 39+ .. pumpkin looking woman (colour and shape wise) isn’t the optimal Hermione in my opinion.
