Not to derail talking about Tom and Gi but I read somewhere that Buddy (second child) was named after Buddy the elf, from the movie Elf and Max (third child) was named after the Grinch’s dog, Max 🤷🏻‍♀️ Buzz and Buddy are simply awful names for humans, pets fine, humans not fine.
Tom has said that buddy was named after the singer Buddy Holly. Tom grew up listening to his music and liked the name

…. Twice? 🤔

Just skimmed through the Hello magazine in my local supermarket and JEEZ the photos are abysmal!!!

I understand that Shrek & Fiona wanted to do things quite low budget due to the tacky home-made factor - ignoring the price tag on her "wedding dress", but bleeping hell, Danny cannot photograph Carrie for love nor money. That photo with her leg blatantly propped on something is HIDEOUSLY unflattering. And the smug look mixed with "help I'm being held hostage" on her face too. She's just so THRILLED to be married to the LOVE OF HER LIFE.

Ugh they are bleeping insufferable but I can't bring myself to stop watching the trainwreck waiting to happen.

BIB - I listen to a rugby podcast that calls the stance when a man is standing with one leg on a chair leaning onto it the ‘northern man stance’ which is what Carrie is almost doing here…weird when Joel is the northern man 🤣

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again…I’m not even sure they get on

Buddy is bad but not as bad as the name Buzz. What were they thinking

Agreed. Buddy and Buzz just sound really knobby on English people - the reason they make us think of American film characters is that we just don't call our kids Buddy or Buzz!

(I think Jamie Oliver might have a kid called Buddy actually, but his kids are called daft bollocks too)

Just googled his kids names. They get progressively worse 😂😂

Poppy Honey Rosie (born 18 March 2002),
Daisy Boo Pamela (born 10 April 2003),
Petal Blossom Rainbow (born 3 April 2009),
Buddy Bear Maurice (born 15 September 2010)
River Rocket Blue Dallas (born 7 August 2016)

I mean, Max is okay - it's a legitimate human name and has been since the Romans. There are still little boys being called Max, I can name at least three in my son's school and they're not considered weird names.

Buddy, on the other hand? Nobody British would call a person Buddy without thinking of a golden retriever.
I had a dog named Buddy (he came with the name) but also, that's what you call a friend's kid that you are meeting for the first time, like "Well hey, buddy, how're you doing?"

She’s been in the public eye for over 10 years now, I’m curious how she manages to keep getting younger fans. A lot of us are ex-fans who liked her when we were younger but have realised the error of our ways/get frustrated with her often so come here to vent. But how is she attracting new fans? What about her makes teenagers want to follow her?! I don’t get it.

I also wanted to issue a public service announcement that there is a Tom and Gi thread if people wanna continue the kids names debate over there as it has very little to do with Carrie.
I started as a fan when I was like 15/16. Now at 26, I see her as a completely different person.

She trying to force Joel away with these hideous dresses?

Does he have to pretend that he likes them? Poor guy.

I spy another room littered with tat.

When will Carrie learn that shirts aren’t meant to be worn under dresses? I get she’s insecure, but she could’ve used a shrug or cardigan to cover her arms. At least the pattern isn’t awful.

I'm not British, so all I can think of is Eddie's fish (creepy guest star from friends, he was Chandler's crazy roommate).

You don't wear t-shirts under those types of dresses, how hard is it to understand?? 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️
That is a summer dress, it's not a pinafore dress.

If you wanna use that fabric but still wear t-shirts, make skirts out of it.
