Well, that's fair enough as they're just boxes for props. I hardly think CHF is going to read every book on her stupid set.

so it was one of the choices called "a love story" or something along those lines and said it was a recent story.. she barely started it before she got teary and kept saying to her pianist "this didn't happen in rehearsal!" and then just went start the song.. cant for the life of me remember the song though!

when she was talking about Addams it was all the usual stuff shes spouted before about it being like her uni let her hair down experience and how she met her best friend Scott.. it wasnt anything new!

Sir Ian Mckellen has a big old fashioned chest for his props. was very cute and used to good effect at times

Also, imagine the poor sod sitting next to Joel in the audience as he gives an overly enthusiastic applause after each song and completely loses it at the curtain call as he stands dressed head to toe in CHF merch and screams SO PROUD!!!!!! while weeping uncontrollably and wiping his nose with the back of his hand.

Of the musical theatre leading ladies and men I've seen (bigger than carrie) they didn't have sets like Carrie. Seems an unnecessary expense from a producing point of view

She met both Scott and Molly doing Chitty.
Btw all theatre sets are copyrighted. It depends on the show, theatre etc whether the audience can take photos or not. It’s becoming more common for audiences to be allowed to take pictures before the show, during the interval and during the bows as it’s good for social media exposure. Though there are a few shows that don’t allow pictures or videos during the interval or at the end because of spoilers. When & Juliet first opened in the UK they asked audiences to not take pictures of the set during the interval as the set showed a massive spoiler as to what happened in act 2.

at the beginning of the show the words ‘& Juliet’ were spelt out on the set, at the end of act 1 it’s changed to reveal the words ‘& Romeo’ revealing that Shakespeare has brought Romeo back to life. Just realised that probably sounds bizarre to people who don’t know the show

Most of the time though it is literally down to copyright issues.

not sure if this is me being finnicky but the signs look like they’re in two different font styles and it’s doing my nut in. Why does one look like it’s in italics?

What is he wearing?! 1- it doesn't even match. 2- unless you are Prince Louis, shorts are not cute or appropriate formal attire.
