she spent enough on that stupid car, why didn't she get one with a self-parking button? My manual, diesel Ford Focus can parallel park itself, and it's 10 years old; newer ones can do front/back in "normal" parking too.

(I never use it, it both scares and wows me, how it gets into the insane tightest of spaces that I'd never attempt myself, it's very clever :D )

point is, self-parking exists, and has done for a decade, and it doesn't need to be an electric or an automatic car for it to exist.

Incidentally I saw one of those red minis parked on my High Street today, and had to have a look around, "is she here? is this Darla?" 🤣🤣

My parents have just bought a ‘23 car and mum refuses to use the self park thing 😂😂 dad loves it but my mum point blank refuses because ‘it’s just no natural’ 😂

Do you think she makes driving noises whilst she's sat there? 🤔
 
Winds me up when she said about not making rash decisions when driving, I get taking your time but you also have to plan ahead and make decisions in an instant, sometimes you can’t just ‘go slow and take your time’ sometimes that’s the worst drivers, also she’s driving in London so I doubt she’ll fit in with that mindset 😂😂

Exactly, driving slow can be just as dangerous and driving too fast
