Yup, they call it a granny cable. It's far far cheaper to charge at home too

The EV Mini has a ridiculously short range, especially if you haven't set up the regeneration etc correctly, which is likely!
145 mile range. I couldn't even get to see my stepkids and back on that. This is why I think electrics are stupid rn, they just don't go far enough and I hate stopping to fill up/charge.
Doesn't matter if you live in London where everything is close and you're just popping to the shops though does it

By that logic , all learners wouldn’t be allowed on the roads . Everyone has to start somewhere !She shouldn't be driving at all if she can't park properly, and feels unconfident and nervous she's likely to cause an accident
I don’t think she should be banned from driving at all but agree , if she’s nervous then she should be having Joel or someone experienced in the car with her . I struggled to park when I started learning but a few lessons with my instructor and I got there . Why hasn’t she done parking on her refresher lessons ?

The fact that she's terrible with parking is a big problem, she could not only damage someone's car but she could also hurt someone.
Maybe controversial but you should not be driving yet when you're extremely nervous if you have no urgent need for it and can afford to do more classes.
She has someone that can drive her around, is rich enough to get more classes before getting behind the wheel, she should chill for now and take her time.
The fact that she keeps bragging about passing the test when she was 17 kind of tells me all I need to hear. She was probably too arrogant to do refresher classes properly and admit that she's the same as someone that has never touched a car. Her license is just a technicality, not representative of her driving skills.

To be fair to her, if she’s anything like me who used to be really tit at parking - just find the pull in spaces 
I actually came here to shame her for saying she couldn’t do the weekly shop on a bus. It is doable. I used to come home easily with 6 heavy bags or 4 and a bag of cat litter. Hurts like duck but it can be done. And that was before I moved to outer London and big tescos/sainsburys were like in places like Haringey or Barnet

After Joel's unhinged Insta rant about that one driver's parking skills, I find it hilarious that Carrie admits to being tit at parking. I hope Joel loses his mind every time he's with her when she parks the car

Just chipping in on the driving thing as a similar situation myself; I had a load of lessons when I was about 24, very nearly ready for my test, passed my theory, all that jazz, then some life stuff happened and it all got put on the back burner.
It’s now 15 years later and I’m about to start from scratch with lessons, even though I’ve recently had a whizz round in a friends car and all the basics came back pretty quickly. If I had passed back then there is no way in hell I would go straight back into driving today as if time hadn’t moved on, it’s dangerous and you just don’t have the road sense (even me who can now apparently reverse around corners at speed lol). She needs P plates at the absolute minimum.

She got an electric car but doesn’t have a port.I know she’s dense but that’s new levels

also she should have P plates but she won’t because, say it with me, “she passed at 17”
I've heard mixed opinions about P plates, some say they make other drivers more impatient around you
She mentioned in her Instagram story that she is getting a port installed in a couple of weeks, but as others have mentioned she can use her house's electric supply
I find it funny how she was sat in a supermarket car park just waiting for her car to charge up. Go do your food shop, grab a coffee
