Not true - publishers have access to Nielsen Book Scan which records book sales figures (excl. Amazon). Any Tattler studying or working in publishing just needs to enter the title in Nielsen…

Surely the venues have to move her to a smaller stage if they have the availability? That many empty seats is such a huge loss for them.

Obviously it's across the pond, but Sierra Boggess got married as well last week. Another successful musical theatre actress.

They might comp a lot of the tickets just to make it appear a bit fuller in there. Even that doesn't always work and it generally doesn't work well for one nighters.
I was at tha palladium last night seeing Russell Howard (who was funny as always!) he's been at the Palladium all week as his first set of dates where sold out he added more on and those tol out to!!
but funny thing was I saw carries poster for her tour in a very small screen/poster they had behind the bar! only recognisesed her for her giant/orange hair!! impressed that she's nearly sold out here!!

Why is she using this as her promotional material when she’s stated that she’ll be on stage in her docs and frumpy dressing gown, and will bite back at anybody who criticises her for not being ‘glam’

I was just about to come say this! I wouldn't normally comment on people's appearance but....
1. Her hair looks awful (more like she's done it herself rather than gone to a professional hairdresser).
2. That dress does nothing for her at all.
3. I had not realised how much weight she had gained.
